Kraeuter Combination Pliers & Hammer

Another seemingly impossible find. Anyone have any info on this little oddball? Can't find anything like it for reference!
Upon closer examination I do see a couple welding pock marks around the base of the hammer section which would indicate these were modified. I should check closer on these things before I list! Oh well, still a neat tool though!

1671’s were just basic long nose pliers. Someone modified those.

1671’s were just basic long nose pliers. Someone modified those.

Possibly true. But if these were modified then they were done extremely professionally with the exact type of steel around the time these were new. Because the patina or oxidation can't be told apart from the pliers. And the craftsmanship being perfect as if made this way. Unless we have every catalog known then the possibility of this being actually made this way is about 50/50

Wow! Excellent catalogs! Just went through all of them and of course nothing.
