Wokspaces above 1200 squarefeet.
It is 85 and humid right now and we are talking about snow, stop it.
I just ordered something from Tractor supply, drove 20 minutes to pick it up and they tell me it is somewhere on a pallet, but they can’t get to it right now and then they said that it would be quicker if I ordered it online and had it shipped to my house. Apparently they don’t have any help and can’t be bothered to find things. Now I am getting some food and then going back to the Hill, without the trailer break away kit. I am probably going to leave my temporary wiring until the parts show up next week. All I really have to use the trailer for is to pick up the utility body tomorrow morning.

I went home early to try and catch up on some rest, marketplace got me again. I don’t even know why I looked, second item “draw bin storage $300”. It was a 7 drawer shallow 36” wide lista cabinet, I was first and it is in the truck. I told my GF I had a good emergency to handle and she replied “what are you buying?”, she knows me way too well. Only issue, but not really an issue, is that I don’t have any storage wall parts in that width, so for now it stays as a cabinet.

Well I actually wrote something like that at first, with how do you get anything done. You seem to be always on the hunt...
I am over at the Salvage Garage, got to try and grab a few larger chunks of scrap while I have the trailer here. I will also be coming back over here with the dump trailer so I can get trash, my GF wants the dump trailer at her mom's house for most of next week and I want to get rid of what I have first.
I also have to go to the camps this afternoon and load up the damaged dock pieces, I think there is some salvageable stuff, but it is going to need some fabrication done. We will see what else gets done, lots on the agenda, but seems like that is true every day.

I have the chunk of iron loaded for the scrap yard, there is still some water in the base, hopefully they will take it as is. I got as much bailed out as I could without tipping it upside down. Lista cabinet is inside and I am ready to roll. Next stop the Hill for the dump trailer, at least that is what I think, kind of depends on my Brother and his schedule.

Movie copying has been at a stand still, I had to get the hard drive situation dealt with, just need to add the new drives and I should be good to go. I have a few more parts that will be delivered sometime next week, once I have those, I should be able to assemble all the ripper machines. I did upgrade all the blu ray players, now they will all read and rip 4K UHD discs. I will have one unit dedicated to just straight DVD discs. The 18 bay will be able to do all types of media. My overkill habits are running away, I have two 7 bay units, one 9 bay unit and the 18 bay one. They are all getting upgraded power supplies, essentially silent ones, they say fanless, but they have a fan, it just doesn’t run until it really needs to. I haven’t figured out where they are all going, definitely one at the house, one at the Salvage Garage and the 18 bay will stay at the Hill for now, I think the 7 bay units may both be DVD/CD only. I really don’t know what makes sense, I figure I can bring totes of media to each location, then whenever I have a minute, load them up and let em rip.

I'll bet you are right, Duramags ain't cheap to begin with. I used to see more Readings than anything else but now its Duramags. My Reading aluminum has been on 2 trucks and needs paint but its still not rusty
My fancy quick connects showed up for the sprayer. Of course one piece was not in the box, the packing list shows an “X” next to it, no email about back order or anything. It was the fitting I needed to hook up the fancy name brand spray gun. Getting to test out the other two first, might be that the cheaper version is perfectly fine for me. About half price, not sure if it is rebuildable or not, the expensive one is.
I am going to spray some of the weeds up at the Hill and see what happens, pretty sure there is still some round up in the tanks. I need to clean them out anyways, might as well try things out. Found a new 12 volt pump on eBay for $130, ordered that yesterday, I think I am about done buying parts for the sprayers, just need to fix a few things, replace that 12 volt pump, clean the Honda carb, and start configuring the new setup, I may end up using the 12 volt pump for the chemicals and the gas pump for straight water. When I need water, I would need the pump on more of a continuous basis and I think the electric one is fine for the intermittent use of a sprayer. I also thought about combining the entire thing into one unit to include the pressure washer as well. I have to take a look at what type of space that would involve. I think it would be better to have the two separate, originally I was going to have the pressure washer system use a separate lower powered pump for watering plants/trees remotely, but the sprayer system can handle that, just might need a larger tank than 200 gallons.

I am already off on a tangent, cleaning out the utility box. All of the handles are loose, looks like they are held in place by rivets, but there isn’t one left. Looking for some replacements now. I don’t know if it is going to work out or not, but I am thinking that the utility body should get at least set on the truck tomorrow. I may pull it back off after making any brackets needed to hold it down, but it would be really nice to get the truck up and running with the utility box this week.
I can't find any rivets that fit, they go into a recessed piece of plastic and the heads are all too big in diameter, going to have to machine them down a bit by hand. Luckily there are only 12 of them, since I am into it this deep, I just want to get this part finished. I need to clean up a bit more stuff in the shop, then mess with the sprayers, right now it is too windy to really spray, hopefully it will die down for me.
I also just found a single phase CUDA parts washer that is all rusted out, $200, I definitely can't buy the parts for that price. Unfortunately I can't get it until Tuesday morning. I will pull off the good stuff and send the rest tot the scrap yard. Should have almost all the same controls, it will save me a bunch of time as well as some dollars.

Do you know anyone who has a forklift? That's the way to mount that body. 
Rivets are done, handles are tight and won't fall out now. Need to eat "lunch" except it is almost dinner time. I just need to clean up a bit more of the shop now, not sure how I ever thought I was going to get more done today, but I had a long list that only got longer.
I hope tomorrow is a bit more productive, I really need to get the 3500 usable, especially since I just committed to getting something Tuesday morning while totally forgetting I don't have a truck to drive. Ford is going in for some service work and I tried driving the Blurb yesterday, it is still shaking and kind of slipping, but it was also back to the old throttle cutout. I am guessing there were more wiring issues further down the line and I only found the start of it. I really can't wait to get into something that isn't a gremlin hoarding mofo.

I haven’t really done anything that I had intended to do, I did move a lot of stuff, most of it will have to be moved again, but right now I have to clear space so I can use the shop at the Hill to its full potential. I have been working on taking Lista drawers out of the cabinets and putting them into the storage wall units. The empty cabinets can be stored outside until I need them to move drawers to the Salvage Garage. Hopefully all this will go smoothly, but it is a multi step process that is absolutely going to look like one’s step forward, two steps back.
I think the utility body is going to have to wait, I need the truck back togetherASAP and trying to get that installed is going to destroy the overall goal. I also did a bit of searching and I may take a drive and get a frame, cab, and nose from a rust free area. I don’t actually have any good clean regular cab frames or bodies. I need to make some connections anyways, I am going to have to search out more parts later. I am keeping an open mind.
No utility body for sure, not on this frame. Going to put the truck back together with most of the rusty body panels. I will change the headlights since we had to remove them anyways. I am going to plan on a road trip for another frame, cab, and nose. Then I can put that truck together with the Blurb’s engine and a known good transmission. I will still have the 3500 to drive in the meantime, just rusty.

I think I am going to need a few more thousand square feet of storage space, I still haven’t figured out how I am going to store everything that I need to store. Going to have to do a better Kobe organizing and getting rid of things, that is overly obvious. Getting the conex over to the SG needs to be high on the priority list, then I have to get rid of some of the crappy old truck boxes and layout the conex boxes in an orderly fashion. I need the Mitsu over here, but I can’t take it from the Hill until I get the other oakhurst box gone, it will be handy to push the box to line it up with the trailer. Lots to do, so little time!

So with all the rolling stock you have scattered around, how do you manage keys?
Do you have a key board and/or a key locker to keep spares? You might have covered this but I don't remember seeing anything.

I have a key box at the Salvage Garage, at the Hill, most things just have the keys in them or they don’t take a key at all.
I got three cabinets into one of the trailers at the SG, I really need to load up the trailers before the conex boxes, those are going to be tough to move around if they have too much in them. I have not figured my setup over at the SG yet, have to do some drawing and head scratching for a bit. The lists cabinet had some nasty grease on the bearings, they are all gummed up, going to have to address that before I put all the drawers in.

It will fit between the lift posts, but it will be tight for sure. I am honestly thinking I may just wait u til tomorrow to deal with it, the forecast is for drizzle, fo show my snizzles…

The 3500 truck actually looks pretty good! With all the Lista cabinets, and other cabinets, what the heck do you plan to put in all of them? Just curious.
Nice work getting that load to scrap, while the money wasn't huge, it still got rid of some stuff, and one less thing on your mental project list.
That base piece was a nightmare, it had filled with rain water and the I had to clean out the oily mess. I am so glad it is gone, I was concerned they would not take it as it was. I have a few more things like that they say they will take, I think there are five or six automatic transmissions, I am pretty sure they will all need to be drained. I have to get them out of the Oakhurst box before I haul it in for scrap anyways. I suspect that won't happen until next week, I already have enough on my plate.
As for what I plan on putting in them all, stuff of course...

The 3500 will be used as a temporary truck while I build up the keeper. I want to try and get that done as quickly as possible, need to scrap a few things to get a bit more capital together. I sold a few things to my Brother and I think he wants to buys one more stuff, so that will help as well. The Hyster H110 is on the chopping block, I just need to get all the fluids drained and take off the hydraulic valves, going to also keep the reverser box, might be handy to have for some other project. I just need to keep picking away at things, I can already feel the momentum starting, today was a good jolt.
As for what I plan on putting in them all, stuff of course...
