not sure what I'm missing here but the codes were showing discounts then I went to place order, and the price went back to original and now says "<......> discount code isn't available to you right now." after I try to add them.

Order #6601 !

Jori, I didn't know how to make discount codes work and just as I spotted the box for it I had just pressed the final button and the missiles were launched, so to speak. i can haz Malco diskountz?

I had just gone finished a walk in the heat and humidity and one of my cats was licking sweat off my hands the whole time I input payment. She still is.
Yup. If you didn’t get the discount codes in there I can take care of it on my end on Friday.

I'm having the opposite issue in that it won't take the codes. :dunno:

They were never released. And until recently Malco claimed they didn't have any. But apparently they found a small quantity of them and sold them to Epstein's. They only had 31 pairs available for sale, and only 1 per customer. They sold out in a couple of minutes.

Malco sure got the technical side of the products down pat - but I feel like their marketing implementation was .. erratic

Time to do a run through the toolboxes next week, see what has been lost since last year and stock up

The codes should all still be active. Let me know if it still isn't working for you

The next closest thing is Snap-on's for $100. I got a couple SOs from my driver and he gave them to me for $50 each.

I just went and looked at the Snap On website for smaller locking pliers, some didn't seem that expensive at all and... CHINA? I didn't know. (I haven't kept up with every GJ gripe session in recent years.)

OK, double checked. Blue Point pliers, not so expensive, China, shiny American Snap On former Malco, much more expensive than what we're getting from HJE. Which is no surprise at all!

Until the Malco stuff their primary locking pliers are the ones from Grip-On that are made in Spain.

#6825 - ended up procrastinating and adding some last minute "needed" items - hammer wedges, Ajax file, Ballistol and a strap wrench
