No ****....kinda need some space for the tree puller vs the plier type things, but I am going to see if I can check a set out....that means probably buy them.
That seems like it woulda been nice when I was removing the bumper of a honda civic. Seems its held on soley by those things. lol
Do you have a parts number?

12.95 for just the plastic rivet tool

SO nuts there's got to be similar tool in a colored hard handle?

Matco makes something similar. I have a set and been happy so far. Only used them a couple times. FYI I ordered them through Matco and it's not clear if it's in stock or not. Took them a couple months to ship my order.

What about one of these indexing nail pullers or pry bar by Crescent? It's slightly wider than a similar pry bar and it already has a forked end. May need to be ground down a little but for $17 - $27 it won't hurt too much.

Just checked my old box, nowhere on it says Made in US. I'm guessing you got the real deal.Zoro finally came though. They took my order well back before my post above, but said the item was backordered. I didn't mention it because I kinda figured it was something that was never going to come back in stock. Every so often I'd get an email pushing back the expected backorder date and asking if I wanted to cancel. I did not as I was holding out hope it wasn't completely unobtanium forever. Turns out that hope was not all for not.
They look identical to my eyes to the SK tool as pictured in the OP, and still say 'SK USA' on them, but nowhere on the tools or packaging does it actually say 'Made in ****' so I'll assume it's not new old stock and instead was made in China by Hangzhou GreatStar Industrial. That said, seems extremely well made and a lot larger and stronger than the Matco set I recently got. The push-button 'hinge' on the Matcos feels a lot more flimsy in comparison.
I'm stoked. I've been wanting this for a long time and have been really regretting nor getting it when they were just a click away from various sellers. Perhaps all those places will now also be getting them back in stock? IDK?

It's had the backordered date extended so many times now for so long I doubt it's part of the old USA made stock, but no way for me to tell either way. If it is new old USA made stock hopefully I got the very last one. lolJust checked my old box, nowhere on it says Made in US. I'm guessing you got the real deal.

The new SK green hard handle stuff made overseas isn't market with "USA" on the handle. It's had the backordered date extended so many times now for so long I doubt it's part of the old USA made stock, but no way for me to tell either way. Great trim tools For what it's worth I saw a video the other day where a rep from SK said the tools sold directly from the SK website will continue to be made in the USA. Other sources like Amazon are imported.$142 and change is significantly more than I paid back when they first came out. I wonder if Gold Star SK is making these again. Although I really don't see them making anything in the USAGreat trim tools

Made by who? I don't think Great Star has US production facilitiesFor what it's worth I saw a video the other day where a rep from SK said the tools sold directly from the SK website will continue to be made in the USA. Other sources like Amazon are imported.

Honestly those both are such excellent and versatile tools, I'd pay 150 for the pair if I absolutely has no other option.
I know they're not USA made, but have you seen the "new" Matco set? I'm sure you have, but with the shorter length they seem a better design. I have a zillion clip tools but the Matco are tempting me.
I really like the curved head of the SK. The 4 piece matco set did look interesting but I'm not sure I would even use 4 different options. I have 4 main trim/clip tools that do 99% of my work, the rest just clog up the box.
