Detailed the 85GT, installed the 3D printed Foglight covers and put on the “plush” new car cover. Tucked away until the next car meet. …. Oh I just had to haze the tires just a little to mark my territory 😂

Always necessary. That's how I broke in the shop. Kind of like putting a scratch in a new helmet. It's just the right thing to do.1000016087.jpg1000016088.jpg

Continued the spare parts work bench building, turned an old frame into an assembly bench, still need to finish the storage shelves underneath, planning on using the metal side panels for the shelf surfaces, and some fresh paint for the frame. 48x96x.25 top will stay bare 20241102_220859.jpg

Stacked more broken **** up. Installed an electric air valve in the laser burner. Realized I need a way to better monitor the air supply. Burned a bunch of sheep. Cursed the GD little compressor. Dealt with more transfer of signatory. Made a hose nozzle for the electric weedblower.

Do you sleep? Or have you found some way to squeeze more than 24 hours out of a day? LOL!

Well, today I embarked on an epic quest—armed with nothing but a trash bag and a questionable amount of caffeine. I bravely faced the chaos in my garage, unearthed long-lost treasures (including that mystery box from 2018—seriously, what was in there?), and emerged victorious! I even attempted to fix a leaky faucet, but let's just say it ended up more "water feature" than "functional plumbing." So, how about you? Are we starting a DIY support group yet?

Actually working on the wife's garage. It's been a messy disaster since her father passed and everything landed in her space. I'm surprising her by putting down some Swisstrax and I've ordered some NewAge pro cabinets. The floor went down in 3 hours by myself. Doing the trim takes twice as long. This is a pic before and after. The trim on the after wasn't installed yet. It's her turn being I've been spending all my time on my shop. IMG_7477.jpegIMG_7479.jpeg
Finished up yesterday. Phew....these cabinets are a little heavy for 1 person but I found ways to do this by myself. Had to become a McGyver at time but Its up. My back is feeling it today, but I like it! I believe I was a lot more excited than she was. IMG_7577.jpegIMG_7578.jpeg

I have a HF transmission jack that I placed on top of my workbench when hanging my wall cabinets, sure made it easy for me as I was working alone.

If that day ever comes, all she getting is one hell of a built table and a couple craftsman stand up cabinets! all she would need in the daily driver garage is vehicle cleaning products plus windsheild washer fluid!

I am the clean freak when it comes to my cars etc. her….takes her an hour to get all the **** out of her car just so we can load up the dog Stuff for an overnighter.

No wonder I rather take the big truck…one tool bag and socket set in back seat foot well, then in the box, rubbermaid tote for windsheild fluid, brake fluid, coolant, kinetic strap, battery cables and a NOCO BoostHD…. Two camping chairs. All held at the front with expandable pole. One hockey stick to reach the stuff from the tailgate.

My car is somewhat similar!

Made a tire pressure gauge,i run 36 psi rear and 32 front cold pressure on majority of my bikes. On the last ride i figured that something is wrong with the front tire...tire pressure on the front was 12 psi. All of my 7 bikes were under 20 psi rear and like 15 psi front so id say its well spent money on the gauge and parts needed to make it. 20241108_173840.jpg20241108_174007.jpg

Looks amazing. I've definitely been there on the cabinets. I usually get help from my wife, but she had to be at work to help pay for the cabinets!

Liquid filled is a little over kill for a tire gauge, but I like it. :badteeth:

Too much **** piled up in the garage, and it's too cold out there to paint anyway, so kitchen it is.
The big box got a second coat earlier today.
It will be cured nice and hard by the time I get back from Mexico.

Sorry, my kitchen isn't as neat as some of your garages.... and I don't care. ;)
No reason to worry about impressing any visitors here.

same box a week ago
