Miller Brand Chrysler Special Essential Service Tool Kits needing new home

Hello to all I have had the privilege of investing in a Mopar collection of cars and parts ranging from 1964 through 1972 amongst this we have uncovered approximately 8 sets of Miller company Chrysler special essential Service tool kits. These are all in the original cases unfortunately after being stored for so many years the writing on the outside of the styrofoam casing has been mostly worn off on a lot of them but the tools are there these range from special kits to do different various repairs on cars ranging from 1967 through 1972. I made the mistake of taking the tools out and trying to clean it up from debris etc and I have not been able to put them all back in their proper spots as of yet. I'm wanting to sell these tool kits . If anyone is interested in taking on these tools message me . Either as a lot or individually I'm willing to work with you. I have some photos I'm including if serious buyers are interested I would glady send detailed info . These aren't the greatest pics however I'm working on better ones.

Without the writing it's hard to tell. Thank you ...I made a mistake and took the tools out of styrofoam and to clean it up just a little bit after the store for so long while now I don't remember exactly where they go in a lot of the writing is wore off is there a place to get a PDF of the tool gets themselves and what goes in the slots thank you again

Not as much as back a few, but in some ways maybe more. Rarer. And nostalgia. The brake adjuster from those tears is worth little. Snap on or not

As far as I know Miller is still around. The tools should have a number stamped into them . I believe you should be able to check the numbers online. At one point I had to do an inventory of our shops special tools ( all Chrysler dealers did). We were originally an AMC dealer that used Kent Moore tools . I used old shop manuals to cross the numbers over. I was very surprised to see how far back some of the stuff went. As far as special tools, most are sent weather you want them or not. Some see constant use, but most just gather dust.

I too have recently got a few of these kits in the styrofoam boxes. They date from 1967 -1972. In each kit there are a few tools missing.
I would like to sell , not a mopar guy, but don’t know if it would be best to sell the tools individually at as a kit.
Any ideas?

Look for the kits and also the missing tools on Ebay. Then decide if picking up the missing items to complete the set makes sense.

Probably for users, the missing tools are sought after. For a collector, the full set would be desirable.

Here is what I have. The 1969 kit is complete, the others are missing some components. Just starting cleaning up and will have that done in the next few weeks. Is flea bay the best venue to sell these?

^ yeah... but I would clean it up first. Try some "DAWN" dishwashing liquid and a toothbrush on that white plastic case - apply it where there is NOT red or blue lettering - the DAWN might remove it if applied straight, but it will certainly cut that grime action there.

Not sure what you'd use to clean that polystyrene ("styrofoam") insert.

I have several of these kits too, tho I think mine are from the 50's or even older, and are in metal boxes, not shadowed like yours. I've sold some of them on the HAMB, but I still have a couple. I may give it another go as I've never sold anything on Ebay and probably won't ever.....too much to learn.

Thanks for the tips. I may try the HAMB as well. I would like to sell all in one lot, but shipping would be costly.
I cleaned up the 69 kit and it came out nice.
