Blackhawk by Proto SAE indexing ratchet wrench driver set with 3/8 and 1/4 dr ratchets, 72 tooth: $31 at Amazon, free shipping. More at toolguyd. COO unknown.![]()
nice idea, thanksYou guys might think teflon furniture sliders is an odd thing to post here, but I put these on the bottom of heavy hand tool boxes and slide them under benches, very useful, saves the box bottom. Best price I've seen anywhere on these, $5 for 8. Free ship.

The nearby Home Depot is running their Husky ratcheting screwdrivers, stubby adjustable wrenches, and stubby combination 1/4-3/8 ratchets for 83 cents each. They're not on the Home Depot site - must be discontinued.
They also had stubby hammers for around a buck and a half, if you have a use for a stubby hammer.
Husky brand or no name bargain bins?
Thanks to Danglerb, a notification that the PB Swiss 225 "hinge handle" that accepts interchangeable blades (normally $47) is on sale for $16. Schweet.

Ace has 4pc gearwrench sets on sale for $9.99. Available in metric and SAE. These are gearwrench brand wrenches, most say ACE on one side, and gearwrench on the other side. I picked up a set of each.

Says free shipping to your local Ace. I would just order it on-line and pick it up. Better than risking the product being out of stock or fighting for the price match. Will they honor that price in the store if I print it out?

I nosed through Overstock.com; it is NOT a happy place for tools. It's the final resting place for Chinesiness. The only quality brand I could find on anything, was Hitachi.

Re Amazon, Is there anything you can do after you buy something and they reduce the price. I'm tired of the way their prices go up and down.
Is there anyway to know when the price will bottom out.
Overstock used to sell some Bahco tools
