Your posts about them have gotten me thinking about spring, and no longer bending over to grow tomatoes and basil. How do you feel about sharing your design and photos?
My design is a "knock off" of what I have seen on YOU TUBE, Google "ELEVATED RAISED BED PLANTER BOXES" I am building two sizes 24" X 48" and 18" X 36", they are 30" from the ground to the Upper Edge, there are 30" legs on each corner.
I have decided on an internal soil depth of 12" so that Tomatoes will have enough room to grow.
I am building them from 6' Cedar Fence Boards from Home Depot, I use Tightbond III wood glue and 18 gauge brads.

Tools Recommended are a Pneumatic BRAD Nailer, a miter saw for Cross Cuts, a Table Saw for ripping the wider boards to my desired width and a 4.5" grinder with a Flap Disk for cleanup ans fine adjustments.

My Microsoft Surface Tablet won't take pictures and I have yet learned to take pictures with my phone and include them into my posts, I guess I will have to find a Junior High School kid to show me how to do that.

Place them thoughtfully in their bedrooms, with a note saying "Not in the garage"?
Oh Lord, I already got in trouble for doing that with trash. The oldest comes in the back door and will set their bottle/can on the counter. I get it, you need both hands to take off your shoes. But, they never pick it up again. It will sit there on the counter until the wife or I get fed up and throw it away. I devised a plan, and saved up a couple of these bottles, then I put them in the offender's bed. Under the covers and down by the feet. Of course they complain to mom, and feces follows gravity. I'd say the results were worth the hassle, but I have been formally requested not to engage in similar shenanigans.

You‘re so nice to yours.lol My buddy had one, nowhere near as nice as yours, but we beat that thing unmercifully.lol There was no corner left undrifted, no hill left un climbed, no bump left un jumped. So much fun.
That was it's first trip out. I'm still getting it sorted out. Plus, it's about to be street legal, so I don't want to break it until I've had the chance to get some actual road miles on it.

Doesn't get any better mine comes home to visit and after he leaves we get to clean up the water bottle, soda bottle, glass, plate and whatever else he used while he was here.....last time I went to use my oil drain pan it was still full from when guess who stopped by to change his oil...at least he buys his own oil and filters now.

Mine helps me clean up after we're done with his car.
Now when he cooks dinner for us, then I gladly clean up afterwards.

That’s the beauty of them, they are easy to fix, and remember, CV joints are a normal wear part.lol
Finally fit the new exhaust, had to make a custom link pipe.20250213_202206.jpg20250213_202231.jpg

I'm the only Andy that works Honda events. If you go to the Honda corporate tent and ask for me, they'll know exactly who you are asking for.

Finally had to put gas in the snowblower.

IMG_6524.jpeg

Barely enough snow to be worth running it, but there’s supposed to be more on the way tomorrow. Did my driveway, the neighbors’ driveways, sidewalks to the block corners.
Yep, same here (almost). Mine has been gassed up since November, but so far the snow this year has been weak - just a few 1-2” snowfalls for which I just used a shovel. Today was a lame 3” snowfall, yeah it was wet and heavy, but I figured that I might not get another chance this season to use the Toro.

As always, she started up on the first shot.

These girls are naturals. Pointed them at it and grabbed myself a beer. Gave a few pointers along the way but they each did 95% of their own work. Took nearly an hour to get these two wheel bearings checked and back together but they had a good time.
IMG_3093.jpeg

They struggled getting the tires off alone and worked together to keep Alyssa’s from falling on her. I failed as a picture taker for the rest of the process as I was busy trying to both keep my mouth shut and let them do things and try and to keep them from getting covered in grease. It can be washed off but girl hair with grease in it is apparently “so hard to wash out Dad” so I kept watch for them lol.

I have continued to work on the Elevated Raised Bed Planter Boxes, all those that are assembled have the 3/4" Drain Holes drilled into the bottoms. There are at least 4 holes in every 36" long box.
Sanded smooth on all the parts that show on 12 leg assemblies, reworked one leg assembly because the clamps did not hold the parts in position as the glue dried.
Worked out with my Fitness Trainer, visited the owner of the Hardware store where i worked for a few months 30 years ago; he wants to see my Planter Boxes, but all his store stock has to pass through the Ace Hardware system.
Picked up some stuff at Walgreens for Mrs Nadogail.

Went in my shop/garage to get the Polaris out to plow all the snow... then I hobbled inside after it beat me up for a few hours and my wife had a leftover meatloaf lunch all hot and ready and I ate it like a Boss.IMG_0562.jpeg

Now I want a meatloaf sandwich. Mercy.

I'm sure my kids hated my guts at the time, but I was always the, "turn it on, turn it off, take it out, put it away etc", guy. You'd never know it looking at my shop these days though.

Made another main jet change on the Top Banana's carb. Using a AEM WBO2 to get it dialed in. The PO had a 145 main jet in it, which was so rich it was ******* the WBO2. With a 135, it was at high 9's/low 10's at WOT, and it picked up a bunch of power. Just went to a 125; we'll see where that lands the WOT AFR.
127.5 main is high end of stock 1600, like Karmann Ghia. Bug, bus were 125. Ghia was sleeker, slightly faster top speed.
That is for 34PICT-3 1600
Is it 1600cc?
That header might go 130, 132.5

I ran the compressor & aired up one tire that was flat on my old 2000 Ranger & towed it out from alongside the garage, so it is easily accessible for the tow company to pick it up on Monday. I am scrapping it since I will never repair it & my wife has been on me to get rid of it for a while now. We sold the 99 Explorer Sport & now the Ranger is going away.

For every vehicle I am made to scrap, I go after a pair of shoes she has to scrap.

Stopped that pretty quick! 😂

Yep, which is why the 145 main that the PO had in there was running insanely rich at WOT. It's a H30/31 PICT (PICT 3). It's on a 1600 single port. With a 135 it's still way rich (high 9's to low 10's on the WBO2), so I'm going to try the 125 to make another big change. I can always back off to a 127.5 or 130 if 125 is too lean.

We got officially 3.1”, but it seemed like less on the ground. Light and fluffy, blows all over when you throw it, so had to work with the shifting breezes to keep it off of me.

Supposed to get more tonight and tomorrow, so maybe I’ll get to run it again.
