Y'all are funny - I don't want to leave my home or scour eBay looking for singles. If you do, that's wonderful.
Yet you’ll complain about the price of quality , and settle for less when given the opportunity to purchase them for less than half price without “scouring” for anything.

Your reading comprehension is lacking. My issues are price vs. value when it comes to a lot of things like this. For nearly $400 for a metric set, the additional performance isn't worth the $$$ for me. For the difference between my Carlyle set at $133 and a new SO set for $199 from eBay, I could probably talk myself into that difference if I was using them often (or professionally).
But hunting piecemeal to make up a few bucks on a set price? I'll leave that to y'all. (and, without sarcasm, if that works for you, that's a fine thing)

I thought the topic was why didn't Icon sell line wrenches. Looks like topic has changed to Snap on is better and the best to buy them

Where I grew up north of Pittsburgh, a "4 way wrench" was for wheel lug nuts, a "line wrench" was for fluid lines using flare nuts, and an "angle wrench" was, well, an angle wrench with offset open ends. I think a lot of colloquial terms are at work in these definitions.
Any discussion about line/flare but wrenches begins and ends with SnapOn. They are that much better.

I agree. SnapOn line wrenches and 1/4 wobble extensions are the best you can buy but if Icon did sell them they probably would be decent wrenches for the price and easy to just go into a store and pickup a set

But they sell the lower cost versions. The higher cost that the Icon set would sell for at retail should cover the wrenches they warranty. Kinda like most tools truck prices factor in the cost of warranty in the future

I agree. Tool truck brands tend to price in negligence into their warranty or service plan. I know HF tends to not care when the tools come back but their warranty is pretty much for defects NOT improper usage.

I understand that conversations flow and evolve but but I don't think every tool conversation should flow towards Snapon. The make some great tools but some not so great. I can smell the roses but don't have drink the Kool aid
Taiwan made torque adapters are fairly well known to bust last I checked.

How on earth is using a Taiwanese torque adapter going to be dangerous?
Dangerous as in cracking while in use, under load.
