I've got the expert experience gained from doing something twice lol. We have done a lot wrong with our kids I'm sure(ages 6 and 3) but we got this book recommendation from one of my team members when we were expecting our first and gave it a try and it worked for both of ours. Our older slept thru the night at 6 weeks, our younger at like 7 or 8 weeks and they both still go to bed without much fussing, and sleep thru the night without getting up.

Babywise Sleep Solutions: Begin as You Mean to Go with (To the Point) https://a.co/d/cz6H4Oi

It wasn't hard to do, just get into the cycle they promote, and work to keep it consistent when possible. The hardest part at first was letting them cry it out for a bit...and it was actually tougher for the grandparents then it was for the parents....we were too sleep exhausted to have feelings I think lol. Once they got used to it...crying stopped and right to sleep

Between that book, and the tracking app my wife uses he slept completely the night (for the first time) last night. We've been 9pm-3/4am consistently and a few 9-5/5:30. But last night it was 9-6:30..

If only the dogs hadn't wanted out at 2:30 and again at 3:30..

I think we wear very lucky to have a DVR, it made long nights more bearable. Not an issue anymore tho…

Lol.. not much. Mostly just some bearings for the moulder and a couple chunks of steel for the new spindles.

I did buy a dumore toolpost grinder for my lathe to grind the bearing seats on the new spindles I'm planning on building.

Yea we all need one of these....

I should have included this in my original question—aside from formula, diapers, and baby food.
Have you perfected the art of holding the baby with one arm while skillfully scrolling with the other?

Im back working on the exhaust of both my truck and the "shitbox" elantra. My truck failed the inspection because of a pinhole on the resonator section. The elantra would have failed because the flex coupler had a large hole (my fault I welded it in last time out of alignment and had to wrench on it to line up.

This time on the car I bolted everything in place, and tacked it in place. I was also really lazy and just burned it in with er70s2 from the glue gun, rather than take the time to tig it with 309 like last time. It's a amazon.com "stainless" coupler so I assume I'll be back in two years anyway.

Hope the advil and cold snacks helped the back!

Going to be selling the tempest?

4 advil and 4 beers solved the back issue, though both seem to have slightly worn off since then.

Yes, the tempest is for sale. $250 for any one who wants it, including all the 4" and 5" duct work that I bought it with.

I'm pretty interested. How far off the path from Charlotte to DC are you? Would you hold till mid June?

Good thing I'm in no rush (my wife still thinks we could get by with one car instead of three)

I think the car should pass inspection now.

Had to cut the rear cat nuts and studs with a angle grinder then chisel off the remnants of the nuts with a air chisel (with about 15" of space under car) .

Once the cat was out I welded nuts to the stud stubs and backed them out.

My wife's other comment was that we should just buy a new car the next time the engine dies... lol.
