My Mill was set up for 500rpm for steel. This weekend I swapped pulleys to speed it up to 3000rpm and now the mill shuts off just as the Rpm increases. It is a 110v unit and I’ve run it off a 15amp power strip all along. I have not tried plugging it directly into a higher 20amp outlet yet.
Any suggestions? I didn’t foresee a speed change having this outcome but I’m not that experienced . At some point I was going to wire it for 220v but wasn’t going to do it just yet. I have bigger breakers on the 220 side so is that my only option?
