Moved my stock of 6” wide and 6’ long Cedar Fence Pickets and restacked them with spacers so they can better dry.

Did a little cleaning up and adjusted the stop block on my miter saw for the next build of racks to hold 5 Gallon Buckets for planting.
Sounds like you have quite the little planter box factory going on in there!

Great for you!

More of the same... Took a break when I cracked my kneecap hard on a SS fire extinguisher... 😧

More of the same yesterday, but without banging my knee cap into things. I did bang my other knee, but not near as bad, the same day prior :badteeth:

Also we got limited Garbage PU yesterday (6 days late - they are bringing in "Drivers from outside the area" to minimize the impact of this sympathy strike. - Garbage only so far. We are still dealing with recycling and green waste - so any yard work is at near dead stop too.

So once that was gone I power washed the empty can. it was surprisingly clean, and more for spider webs in the underside crannies of the can lip than anything else.

Sounded believable to me. We routinely have 80% or higher around here in the summer.
I was talking about the reading on my thermo. I'm pretty sure that it's just rigged up to an RNG. No way the humidity was in the low twenties with the swamp cooler running--the outside humidity (which would be much more useful) would have to have been in the single-digits, in which case the entire county would have been on fire.

Go easy Outlaw. I injured myself several times at the beginning of retirement The injuries really slowed me down for a while until I accepted that I am perhaps a little (lot!) less capable than I remembered in my mind.

Did you check the gas cap?
It was brand new a few months ago, OEM. I can hear a faint hiss on top of the tank. Seems like it's coming from the FTP sensor on top of the fuel pump but sprayed everything and no bubbles. Sprayed all around where the fuel pump drops in the tank since that's a common leak area - no bubbles. Had codes a few years ago and replaced the charcoal canister which includes the vent valve and hoses. Filler neck was replaced because that always rots out behind the left rear wheel.

After 6 months of near daily work, I think I may be able to finish this ceiling. It has been a journey! Started in near freezing temps Jan 1st and now suffering at 14 feet in the air in the 90's.

very nice project..i was in a very old diner in East St Louis Mo some years ago and it was very original inside with similar ceiling tiles…the whole diner was a time capsule right down to the dish ware
Would there have been a hoist in that open area of ceiling?

Fixed the exhaust, again. Another rusty hanger broke. Still have a leak I can't fix. At least the deer will hear me at night.

Looking for a car, but the prices are insane. Everybody thinks they have a gold nugget on wheels.

Truck is fixed. I'm very very happy. Replaced the fuse panel. I would never, ever have figured that one out.

Sometimes, you have to pay the bill, with thanks. Life goes on.

I mounted the new old tire repair cabinet when I was done my work.

Have you tried 3-D printing a complete 3-D printer yet?

Y'know, 'cause AI isn't scary without Von Neumann machines.
I assume that you're joking. But to answer your question.

Nope. I have no interest in spending my time on something that can be easily purchased.

Worked on the main electric panel.

Killed the circuits, then the main. Moved some neutrals and grounds to free up a spot directly inline with a moved 50A breaker.

Monday I should be able to pickup an Eaton CHN250SUR which is a combo 50A breaker and surge protector. I will then replace said 50A breaker with the combo unit.

a couple of weeks ago we were in Yellowstone and it started snowing. I flipped the knob for 4WD and it blinked at me for a few minutes then went back to 2WD. Stopped, put it in neutral and tried again...same thing.
Got home and went to YouTube university to find out the common issue is the 4WD actuator on the front axle. Picked one up, crawled under the truck till I found something that looked like the one I bought and swapped it out. VIOLA! everything is back to working like it should.
I love when that happens....

Just some Chevys in their natural state :ROFLMAO: . Tried to play pit crew today. Decided to take all 4 wheels and tires off the ranch truck to take them in and get new ones. Used the old devilbiss impact which made life a little easier. Had the use a prybar and the 40oz ball peen to get the wheels to break loose from the hubs. Went to move the maroon truck to load them in the back and the battery died. Now we’ve gotta go get it replaced. It just never ends. All this was after spending the morning in the field dropping the tank on our big John Deere tractor to change the in tank filters.
