Replacement Window that is.
Walls are 2x4 sheathed in 7/16 OSB, not a shred of wrap or tar paper from what I've seen.
Plan is to pull back a minimal amount of siding, remove old window and install new, add PVC trim and replace siding.
Initial thought was to use 9-12" vycor flashing tape on window frame, would give me 4-8" of sealed surface on the exterior face to work with. When I re-side down the road I can add wrap and seal to this.
Is there a better option?
