^ They ARE the saw people here locally.... if anybody would know, I would think it would be them.
I've been using Ballistol Harzlöser (resin remover) for years on my saw blades. I spray it on and let it set five to ten minutes and then wipe it off with paper towels.

Simply, Simple Green a nylon toothbrush and a shallow dish
A 5-gallon bucket lid also works perfectly.

Spray on oven cleaner.

May be an old wives tale but I heard the chemicals in oven cleaner can cause degradation of the carbide tips, making them loose.

+1 for Simple Green in a 5-gallon bucket lid and a soft bristle brush. Works great.
