Induction rangetop replacement.

curious how this goes.. We've got a slightly cracked top (contractors) and I've been living with it. Part was on backorder for a year..
What brand and model?
Parts place says a couple of weeks.
Videos make it look like a 20 minuet screwdriver job.

I was searching for parts for my Fisher-Paykel dishwasher and there was widely different parts availability times from different suppliers. Also a lot of difference in shipping cost. I would do some more online queries, and also call some local suppliers.

Thanks. Little better over on searspartsdirect and one other place.
I have found videos on replacing the glass for standard non-induction stoves, but have not seen a glass replacement on an induction top.. That's what's got me paused at the moment. Might be "close enough" The Whirlpool video makes it look pretty easy.
Note, I paid for this once - even lower, but never showed....

My go to is ereplacementparts.com but they look on the high side for this one
To add a little clarity.
It took 1 1/2 hours because I was going realy slow and carefully.
Some parts if the design made service easy, while a few other things are a but of a PITA.
The top (almost) comes off with 6 easy torx screws. Then you realize you have to pull the back off to get to the electrical connectors, since the induction elements are in a module attached to top.
Well, the module just unclips, withe the glass down (module up), but then you find you really need to flip it over before taking it apart.
Of course, glass up makes the clips nearly impossible to get to.
So you unclip it, the carefully flip it so none if the clips reengage, then lift off the glass.
Easy Peasy!
Re-assembly is the reverse of disassembly.
