11" back panel at the top. You just can't see it in the Pic. If I made the panel too much wider I'd need another sheet of plywood. At 11" all my pieces fit on 2 sheets. A second 2" brace farther down to keep legs from spreading. Left the area between open to keep from covering outlets.No back panel or even half panel to support the leg panels?
I'd also add an under top book shelf for rarely needed but important books.
My daughter and I took my 883 to Big Bend on a 4 day trip a few years ago. I think we only did 1700 miles that weekend. The 883 is parked next to my Dyna. Both get riden about the same amount.Nothing wrong with sportsters, I know a bunch of women who had them.
I enjoy riding when I can. I've had 4 Harleys since 2003 when I bought the first sporty.Closest I got to owning one was a flathead KR engine. I was going to build a street sleeper but never got to it. Would have been awesome.
