Agreed on the slivers…. I’m calling this one done. It’s all I needed for inside work. Thinking the next one will be at least 13” and then I’ll shape a horn & heel. Just not a ton of room on a 6-1/2 “. I know no matter how well I lay it out & cut it, I’ll be grinding for a while. I spent 30min with a cone grinder just rounding up that torched hole. I was going to weld in the lead in, but I thought it looked more authentic with it. Love to see more of yours..The bandsaw made cutting it look pretty easy. I'm working on giving it something of a horn and heel, and boy howdy, the 7 inch right angle grinder and cut off wheel took waaaaay longer to cut the parts that the bandsaw can't reach. Grinding after cutting is even more painfully slow. I'm thinking of trying to do the rest mostly with my POS mill-drill, but I don't like the idea of making that many tiny slivers in the garage where they could get in the dog's feet.
