That’s a old one, u could build your own set, to match what car haveNew to the fourm. Lurked for long enough. Im a young guy that likes old tools! I collect pre ww2 snap-on and some MtF. I'll be posting some pics here and there. Looking forward to it!
For my first pic here's my car owners set decal. I need to work on filling it up with the appropriate tools one day..
Thanks for the pics and info. So was the 707 and the car owners set essentially the same thing? Is there info in any literature? I know I've never seen anything. But only been at it for a handful of yearsno one knows the exact dates. The 707 Pictured shows Non pinched extensions, so it’s probably 24-25
but u can do the car owners set any way u want, but probably no later than 25
707 set started being advertised around late 24. Most ads seem to be around December.no one knows the exact dates. The 707 Pictured shows Non pinched extensions, so it’s probably 24-25

Blue points puller pcs.Any ideas what this is? Bought it because the case looks really similar to the master service set. But the layout is nothing like it
Any ideas on the case?Blue points puller pcs.
What's the length on those small bars? They look shorter then the one I have. Curious of they were maybe m-5's cut downI don't have as much cool midget stuff but here's some screwdriver stuff and some cross bars. One I thought was interesting is the one that's double marked "snap-on" And a 29 date code on the short screwdriver socket. I'm curious about the SD7s since I've seen them in either the darker color or the lighter one, and I'm not quite sure what the story behind that is. But there seems to be a lot more variance than The records indicate. I know they made the shorter version and the longer version. They also made them without a hole for the cross bar, and there's at least one of then that has those weird lines around the edge of the detent ball Like they did on the drive tools in the 40s. The One I'm still waiting for to come in the mail appears to have some sort of lip on the end that my other two don't have. And my lighter colored one hardly looks like it's ever even had a socket on it, but still has weird Blemishes that appear to be factory possibly. Also the vulcanized rubber one I ended up identifying after I had taken the pictures. But the font was reminiscent of some old blue point ones I've had
They aren't cut down but probably not snap on. Just random cross bars that I've kept. Smaller diameter than the others and shorterWhat's the length on those small bars? They look shorter then the one I have. Curious of they were maybe m-5's cut down
My current setup in the 26ish super service set is 7/16-1-1/4 in 1/2 drive 6pt all in 1-1/2 height but the 4pts seem to be either an 8th inch over or under 1-1/2 for the most part. Nothing to fuss about though. I'm pretty much splitting hairs at this point. Just aiming to get all the different variations. I'll have to look into the deeper ones but looks like about four different heights. And the four points I'm not really sure. The ones in the picture go down by 1/8 in each one I have lined up besides a couple that are the same. So the 1 inch on the left Is 1 and 3/4 And the 11/16 is 1 and 3/8.The 1-3/8 thru 1-1/2 have four heights 1-1/2, 2, 2-1/4, 2-3/8
the 15/16 thru 1-1/4 have two heights 1-1/2 and 1-3/4
in building master sets, you will have to figure out what size fits each set
this applies to the s over o socks 5/8 drive
most of the time the RR wrenches are WhitworthDoes this RR marking mean anything? Can't tell if it's close enough to the Rolls-Royce font to warrant consideration
Looks like a double strike from here.Does this RR marking mean anything? Can't tell if it's close enough to the Rolls-Royce font to warrant consideration
Okay no one wanted to play apparently lol. Definitely looks to me like a 27 code double stamped with S/O
S/0 5/8" sockets had the following heightsDifferent 1 inch 4pts. Couple still need upgrades. But the short ones got me wondering how many different lengths were produced of these?
Text me lol. I'm basically done going through all mine. I'll measure them real quickS/0 5/8" sockets had the following heights
15/16 thru 1-1/4 two heights 1-1/2, 1-3/4.
1-3/8 - 1-1/2 sockets- 4 heights - 1-1/2, 2, 2-1/4, 2-3/8.
Some heights seem way easier to find then others I've realized...
Im trying to collect one of every height. If anyone has some extras there willing to sell, let me know please!
Thats what I need to complete the sets
-31/32" - 1 3/4" height
-1' - 1 3/4"
-1 3/8" - 1.5"and 2 3/8"
-1 7/16" - 1.5"
-1 1/2" - 1.5", 2 1/4" 2 3/8"
