Or you could buy a fleet of them for $53 ea :)

And I keep looking at $53 ea and wondering how many sets of 8" casters I can really use if I want a couple of carts .....
Hopefully they'll be out of stock again soon so I can move on :)

What's the realistic weight rating on these casters for anyone who has received a cart? Think they'd hold up on a 40" Snap On box that actually gets moved around?

It is 14-gauge steel with a 1,200lb weight rating. I assume that means 600lb per shelf. What's the weight of your loaded 40" snap on box?

For anyone that ordered this cart - it looks like they indeed shipped. I was half expecting the order to be cancelled based on the price.

I don't think the price of $76 even covers shipping. My tracking info shows an actual weight of 127lb and a charge weight of 339lb.

Definitely regretting not going for the 10-pack

I ordered the 5 pack yesterday, gonna use one and sell the rest. Estimated arrival date is Feb 27th, we will see if they actually arrive or not.
I showed restraint and only ordered 5. Total was $297.80, not sure if I will keep them all and sell my old ones or put a few of these for sale. Says I am getting them on the 26th. Hopefully the quality is good and undamaged.

Well, the good news and bad news is I forgot about it and they sold out. The box is probably somewhere around 600ish pounds. I'll have to see if I can snag one soon.

Someone among us is going to spend their weekend clearing out space in the garage for five carts. "No you can't park there. That's where we keep the spare carts."

120 cubic feet of carts in the driveway. Definitely going to have to call out and be there for that delivery.

$14.45 looks to be the cheapest this Mitutoyo drill gage has ever been. I also received a $1 off promotional with mine, which I don't see listed anywhere...

If anyone gets delivery of the cart, can you please post up details? Did they contact you ahead of time? Liftgate, just put at the back of the truck for you do unload or what? Doubtful I'd be home when they would try to deliver it so a bit concerned about that (and we might be getting over a foot of snow/ice this weekend). Mines says shipped with CEVA but tracking number doesn't show up on their page (at least not yet anyway).
Mine's estimated delivery date was the 11th of this month until today when amazon marked it "out for delivery" and it showed up an hour later. The only contact I got was amazon's email. It arrived strapped to a pallet, on a truck with a lift gate, and they brought it up to my porch with a hand cart. On first inspection it's a nicely built bit of kit. I'll try to remember to take some photos later.

Edit: They just sent me a text message to let me know they delivered it. Good to know it wasn't a hallucination when I met them out front.

  • Did they contact you ahead of time?
    • Not beyond an "Out for delivery" email from Amazon at 10:30am. Truck showed up about 2-hours later.
  • Liftgate, just put at the back of the truck for you do unload or what?
    • They parked in the street, lowered it with a lift gate, wheeled it up to where I wanted with an electric pallet jack.
  • Doubtful I'd be home when they would try to deliver it so a bit concerned about that (and we might be getting over a foot of snow/ice this weekend). Mines says shipped with CEVA but tracking number doesn't show up on their page (at least not yet anyway).
    • There was nothing for me to sign although they did hand me a shipping document. I imagine that if I was not around they would have left it somewhere logical like the driveway.
The cart itself looks good. Solid although not overbuilt like in the old days. I would not buy one at list price but, at $75 delivered, I should have said: give me all you got!

I have a delivery date of the 11th, in Michigan. However with it starting in Texas on the 29th, and already has departed Chicago yesterday, I'm going to anticipate a delivery of tomorrow or Wednesday, if I had to guess.

With the whole possible winter weather thing, it would be definitely appreciated if they gave a better delivery window. I know I'll try harder to keep the drive way clear for them if I had that. Why Amazon couldn't relay this more detail information is beyond me. At this link you will see more detailed tracking & that no signature is required, taking that worry away for some.

That is crazy, they show 20 AMP plugs on the unit with a 15 AMP cord. I have not worked electrical in a while and when I do, an electrician checks my work before it is all buttoned up. Assuming I am not just swapping out an outlet at my house anyway.

That said, I do believe that it would be a code violation. Makes me wonder if this thing is UL approved. It is only a problem if you draw too much assuming that everything else is right with the world. If I had one I would not plug-in a 20 AMP device especially if not plugged into a 20 AMP outlet. Be skeptical.

A review on another one of that company's product said it was NOT UL or ETL approved and internal wiring was only 18awg. I would not recommend it just based on that. That other product is listed as 20amp as well (outlets on the unit are 20amp looking, cord is not a 20amp plug)....and lots of reviews are free product Vine reviews.

18 AWG with 20 amp plugs? How can they even sell that?
