I've been out on Vintage Machinery looking for a manual and couldn't find one. This grinder is from about 1960. It has a couple of labels I'd like to replace, so I'm looking for someone who might be able to do that?

Thanks, Larry. I will reach out to mattblast. I also found the link at vintage machinery but he also lost his decals. He did document the specs well in the photoindex for it though. I have it disassembled and I'm cleaning it up now. I'm going to turn it into my sharpening station as well. Hoping to find some CBN wheels that might fit.

I'm making headway. I decided to go ahead and stay with the old paper labels. I coated the paper labels with shelac and then with acrylic. I was able to preserve the label on the back but the one that should read "BALL BEARING" on the front didn't do well because I didn't cover the letters with wax paper when I taped it off for cleaning, sanding and painting. I'm just going to go with it and let the old badging show its age. I have an extra belt and disk sander pedestal that I'm planning to use as the stand. I'm going to use this as my sharpening station. I really need a Craftsman post motor mount so I can run the belt from under the grinder. Here ar a few pictures of my progress. I should have the grinder back together tomorrow and start figuring out how to get it mounted. I will test fit a motor and mount from my jointer and make a top out of wood to start, but I plan to make the top metal.

I have it put together and running. I'm going to take it apart, clean up the steel top, clean up and paint the motor mount. I need to figure out a light, a power switch, get some CBN wheels and then get the sharpening jig attached. The wheels work great. I have a half inch bolt going through the top of the foot into a half inch to 3/8's coupler nut 1 1/4 inches long. It is really stable.

I agree. I like what you did. I'm just now learning to work with metal. My welding *****, but I'm learning.
I'm not quite done with my grinder. I ended up making a copy of the motor mount I was using. It did well. I need new wheels, and then I will mount my sharpening jig. I'm on the lookout for a cool light to attach to this setup.
