I think once I sand off the remnants of old glue that a coat of kilz might be enough. If not I am hoping I can grab marine plywood locally.
Cody the hardest part seems to be finding a local supplier. Since marine plywood uses arsenic as a preservative its not sold by HD or Lowes anymore. I found a local supplier I will hit up tomorrrow morning and if they have it I expect it to be about 100 a sheet, maybe less. Online prices from pontoon places was 105 to 115 a sheet plus freight.
Mike, he was making the rounds at the campground and playing with a group of kids the last time I saw him. Once it got dark I couldnt see across the pond to keep an eye on him. This campground had a few dogs that live there as campground dogs and just kinda roam the place. I figured he would fit right in and it would be better than leaving him in the woods. I kinda thought he looked like a plot hound as well. He was young, so he he had a lot of potential to make someone a great dog.
I certainly wont be polishing these toons, but they will be getting a healthy dose of aluminum brightener once its stripped completely.
this mess. The bolts all missing, and sure enough the one he found let go as he bacled out of the driveway. I fpund him the Honda part number and told him to call the dealer and order them. Well the dealer had them in stock which I did not expect, so I went back and put 3 of them in. I couldnt get the last little piece out so they brought it over for me to dig into. I got setup to drill it and realized it moved when I center punched it 
and of course now that Im not lying on my back on her garage it spins right out. 
Cody my local cost was 118 a sheet plus tax. This wood is absolutely beautiful though. Its almost a shame to cover it woth flooring.
I hear ya, I got a sheet of cabinet grade plywood that sits in the garage cause i don't know what to do with it. It's too nice to just cut up for normal projects.

Last night my fathers day gift arrived from my wife and boys.
I use a notebook daily for work to make notes of who I talk to or what we discuss and I wanted to buy one of these covers when I started this role last year. My buddy who is obsessed with all things EDC suggested I wait until I find what I like. I locked in on these A5 notebooks and am already on my second one. I also was gifted a nice pen from tactile turn in Texas seen on the side. Wife nailed it on this one.
So I used this same brand last year on his GLA when the turbo crapped out and it did fine. This one made boost for about half a block before it started making an awful noise and lost power. I constantly advocate for him to let me do it my way, with parts I trust, but he is willing to roll the dice on **** and I get to charge twice for labor when it fails.
I may have jumped the gun and should have done my research prior to pulling the trigger on this wood. It is Okoume marine plywood. Absolutely beautiful marine certified BS1088 7 ply, no imperfections at all. Further research led me to find that this will also have to be fully sealed prior to use in marine environment. The word marine in plywood world apparently means that it cant have any voids internally or patches in the outer veneers. So after talking it over with my buddy who builds custom teardrops, my plan has gone to full overkill mode. Totalboat penetrating wood epoxy is enroute and I will be coating all sides and edges to make this beautiful wood truly rot resistant. Express shipping has been engaged as the goal is to be done by next Friday for 4th of July activities. Its gonna be a tight schedule for sure. I did start opening up the metal channel seams so I can put the new metal into the fencing. Hoping I can have all that completed by the time the epoxy arrives.
I used a tiny pair of needle nose to help hold the clip while I pulled the trim to open the hole and let it slip in. Once they were in it got a quick wipe down with rubber care and back onto the truck.We use sheets and sheets of HDPE at work. Our cost is over 3-4x what the marine ply cost.
So the product I wanted to use would be either King star board or Coosa board. A sheet of 1/2 star board was 240 dollars 3 years ago when I last purchased it. I imagine a 3/4 in sheet would be well over 300 dollars apiece at this time. Coosa board is another good alternative, but a 3/4 in sheet is 420 dollars. Im at 118 a sheet puls my epoxy cost, so around 182 a sheet currently. The reality is I keep a boat about 2-3 years before I want something different, so it should be rock solid for the next guy.
I cut a notch in the plywood and slid it out. With the boat stripped down I started markong out the new pieces. We used my father in laws festool track saw to make the cuts. Man its so much nicer than my cobbled together Kreg track saw. We started dropping the new boards onto the toon 
laying out holes for tables, cables , and other wiring to pass thru the decking. 
we got a massive thunderstorm about 1130 so I pushed the boat into the shop and cleaned up tools. We finished the last couple of pieces inside while it poured outside. And then as fast as the rain appeared it was gone and we got a baking humid East Tennessee day. We also knocked out some trim and door casing in the room above my wifes salon. After that it was cleanup and off to my nephews birthday party.
they went pretty quick and I got them all down pretty easily. Using the shop vac while I drilled helped control the mess. I went ahead and finished up the starboard side sheet metal and pulled the piece I creased the other day and used it to make a door. 
this long piece is now riveted and had the channel closed up and other than the small piece on the corner at the top its done. I dont quite have enough metal in my scrap piece to make a second door and the trim piece like I thought. I may be able to use it for a door and the port side cutout as it is 2 pieces. Lastly was trying put my new hose reel setup. No leaks under pressure and I used it to clean the nasty fuel tank. A bit of purple power and the pressure washer did the rest. 
Thanks Cody, I have 5 days to get it done and on the water. I registered it last Friday, hoping TWRA will send me my numbers asap so I can have them made. Im asking to get pulled over if I go out without a sticker on it, but I really want to be on the water for the 4th.
I hear ya, if that boat hit the water with no stickers on 4th of July, Mr. Greenpants will be on your boat with a nice written note to remind you how important it is to pay your fees! Maybe if you have proof of purchase for the numbers will be sufficient?

Jeff and I spent last night rocking out on the sheet metal fencing. I decided to take a saw and remove most of the bottom channel and use some rivets to hold it in place on the lower part.
By cutting off the lower channel, it made the metal installation a breeze and no creases at all.
I left a few tabs to fold over and secure it and the rivets held tight in locations where it pulled out a bit.
We were able to do this as all one piece instead of the two originals because of this method and it came out seamless. I hammered over the lower tabs and end tabs just to hold it in place and will go around this afternoon and drill and rivet it on the bottom. I have one more to do and then I will redo the first one in this same way since I creased the metal. Wife is super happy with how its coming out and once the plastic is off you can see the subtle metal flake in it.

Thank you! We got the rest of the fencing done tonight, kinda irritated with UPS though. My epoxy has been in town since Saturday afternoon, and they wont bring it until tomorrow because that was the date they listed initially. Nothing worse than knowing your package is 20 minutes and also 24 hours away at the same time.
Come on out, I dont mind trying to play catch up to one of your fun cars!
You want to come out here like I want to head out west! There are so many amazing roads to tackle out here, you wont regret a trip out here, especially during the fall months.
