Trying to convert 3/8 male compression to 1/4NPT, anyone know of an adapter or idea on how to build adapter? TIA

Got a Puma PD1006 compressor for air lockers and tires in an offroad vehicle. When orig compressor switch stopped working, replaced with separate pressure switch and inline unloader. Unloaders (Control Devices-PA6) only seem to last a yr or 2 before they leak from the weep hole and comp continually runs . 1/4 NPT unloaders seem to be difficult to source while 1/4M NPT x 3/8M compression are available (amzn: Milton S-1097-6).

It seems odd that the PA-6 could leak out of the weep hole fast enough to keep the compressor running continually.

listed as a combo check valve & unloader .
where/how does the air unload? maybe a regular unloader/switch would last longer ? I seldom have unloader issues.

Has a Maximum recommended compressor speed of 400 RPM.
what is your RPM?

Your MMC link references copper tube, I'm trying to adapt at that point minus the olive and end up NPT.

Re: weep hole loss... Pulled it apart today. The PA-6 uses what look like internal tooth lock washers on both ends. Not sure I can get them off w/o damage beyond reassembly. Something is not sealing inside, maybe spring needs to be stretched? I did grab a Milton 1098-4 Load Genie (1/4" Female NPT 1/4" Male NPT) off ebay but like a backup plan.

This is what setup looks like except the factory puma check valve was replaced with street 90. That was done b/c the PA-6 is supposed to function as unloader and chk valve. Red arrow is PA-6.

air is escaping from weep hole on the side of the unloader prior to reaching air pressure switch > comp and comp continues to run eventually popping circuit breaker.

No idea on RPM, whatever it was set factory... where do you see max 400rpm?

TIA
