Man, I have never seen a Cornwell truck. Our apprentice came from a shop in Oaklawn or somewhere in that area and that was their only truck so he’s got a ton of Cornwell tools. They seem really nice.
Is everything being of the deep variety a preference or a need? Just curious what you're working on.

Spot on. . . spot on.Nice! I've got a O'Bucks or whatever they call it reward I need to burn up.
In looking at the reviews for this set, it's hilarious to see how many negative reviews are people who obviously have no idea they're left-handed drill bits, or what left-handed drill bits are for. There's also one goober upset that the stainless fastener he was trying to drill work-hardened and progress stopped. That's... just how drilling stainless with HSS works. You get one shot...
Look, people... this is a cheap set of Chinese-made left-handed drill bits. Even if they're one-time use, that's still pretty useful. Manage your expectations. And oh yeah, maybe try reversing the direction of your drill.

I don't think "porch pirates" care. They see a package, they take the package.Luckily didn’t attract too much attention as it sat on my front steps for a few hrs.

I don’t know what your experience is with air chisels nor do I know your plans for this 18v version but I’d sure be interested to see how you like it.

Damn, those must be some big Molex connectors!
I just crimped some 6 gauge wire ring terminals for a brushless fan on my truck and it made them effortlessly.Damn, those must be some big Molex connectors!
How much is the ratching screwdriver these days? I have 3 of them that I never use.
It’s $87 msrp. I got for less. eBay got for $130+ lolHow much is the ratching screwdriver these days? I have 3 of them that I never use.

Is it the strippers or the handles?I'm'a gonna' need me some private time....

Nothing earth shattering today.
I cleaned the sanding/grinding dust off floor and work surfaces after finishing my recent end table project.
I usually try to do the dirty work outside but with the weather (110 degrees) I worked inside with the A/C on.
Even had time before PT to clean the front of my tool box with detail spray.
Doesn’t happen often so I took a picture.
Not bad for 25+ years with 15 of those years moving it daily as a pro mechanic.
Almost forgot.
I’m happy with the way I’m storing the vise grips I use 95% of the time in their own drawer.
Today I trimmed the drawer liner so the magnetic base on the Ernst plier holder can get a grip on the drawer bottom.
Edit: Sorry, posted this in the wrong thread.
Should have been in the “What did you do in your garage today”.
Mods, feel free to move it
I've been meaning to get some Torx Plus sockets and bits, I also like chrome nano style sockets and can finally have something with the Cornwell name as I have something from the rest of the truck brands. I also had to get the matching Torx set. Would have been nice if the wrench would have been stamped. The bits are also half cut height as everything is advertised as low profile.

I once drove six hours to see a strip mall. I mean, I'd been to a few strip clubs, but an entire mall?Is it the strippers or the handles?
Dead link. It's from the big river (Amazon).
Prozwee Brand, looks like frozewee on the package. I got a kick out of that.
Prozwee 1PCS 4140 Steel Pay Bar Tool,Multi-Function Trim Removal Tool

Not so much a tool as a consumable, but I bought a roll of this:
a couple of weeks ago. The spool of Stihl line I bought last season--and stored wet, thank you--broke in the head three times in an afternoon, so it ended up in the dumpster. This stuff was highly recommended by a buddy that owns a landscape business, so I decided to give it a try.
Two weeks of trimming and edging a complex set of lawns with wire fences, concrete pads and walks and rock borders and my conclusion is: It rocks!
Not a single break in the head. The line wears slowly and wears to a taper, instead of breaking chunks off, even when it encounters a wire fence.
It wears much more slowly than the Stihl did, even when new. I rarely need to feed more line, and I'm still on the first fill since I got it--I'd have gone through at least two fills of the Stihl line by now.
I'm sold.
