My Epoxy-Coat Adventure!!!

So after a few hours of applying the second coat and flakes, I only noticed 3 bubbles which I popped in time this time.

I'm very satisfied with the results, I was expecting a darker shade of grey (dark grey base coat), but I love the color. With all that prep I still had a few imperfections after the first coat, I'm glad I had a second coat. I did end up using all the sand and flakes provided, intended for 500 sq. ft. and I only have 228 sq. ft., but epoxy coated garages are very slippery during the winter months.

Also, anyone thinking that spiked shoes are optinal... think again, there a must!

Almost a shame to cover up, but it's good to have the car, tools, cabinets, etc. back in the garage

That is the dark gray? Not light or standard gray?

What's with the bubbles? Glad the second coat fixed it but if I do this I would not like to spend money for an extra coat.

It looks like I will be buying this kit. I have a few questions though. So is a second coat really needed? I am going to do tile red with the beige mix. My house is less tha na year old and the only traffic in my garage is my dogs.

A single coat was all I needed. There's no water or solvents to evaporate so
