I have NO idea what I would even use that for...I dont even have a bench...but I still want a set..........:shocking:

Damn you Garage Journal!!!!!
It's a decent workpiece spacer.

If you want a set, you can wait until you need a set, and then wait for another sale or pay the full $12 price.

Or get a friend/family member to buy you a set. =) That's what I do when there's something I want but won't buy for myself.

Shop-Vac 12gal 4.5hp wet/dry vac, $42 on Amazon.

Yep, added that a few days ago to my "latest deals" post.

http://toolguyd.com/2010/11/latest-amazon-black-friday-tool-deals/

It looks to be a "Black Friday special buy" since it's a "ner arrival."

You can do a lot worse than this for your old lady. 1/3 total carat weight black and white diamond studs in sterling silver, $29 with any $19 purchase at Sears. Discount is shown in cart, use code CYBER for free shipping. The deal for the earrings is good until Christmas Eve, the free shipping coupon is only for today. On tools the minimum for free shipping is $50 but you can mix the diamonds in.

AdvanceAutoParts.com
COUPON CODE: NV20

20% off plus Spend $100, get $50 at Advance, free shipping over $75, liquids excluded, pickup available. You need to be a registered, logged in user and it only works once. They run this promotion about every other month, usually lasts a month, usually isn't advertised strongly on their site. Sometimes it works with their other promotions, most of these codes should still work:
BIG10 - ($10 off $25 or more)
A123- ($20 off $50 or more)
BIG30 - ($30 off orders over $75)
BIG40 - ($40 off orders over $100)
BIG5 - ($5 off $15 or more)
BIG50 - ($50 off orders over $200)
P20 - (20% off all orders - no minimum)

When this deal comes around, I usually stock up on Gojo Cherry and Royal Purple but neither of those are on sale right now.

How does the Spend $100 get $50 work? I could not get it to work in my cart.

I was looking at Lowes.com and saw the Rockwell Jawhorse for $139. (they are normally $179 from Lowes but you can pick up from ebay for $139...basically new but may have cosmetic issues) Decided to give a strong suggestion to the wife that it'd be a good Christmas gift so I'm picking it up tonight. I figured it was worth driving to Lowes to ensure it is a perfectly new one, plus I can take it back if a don't like it as much as I expect. I think this may have been what they were selling for on BF, I'm not sure.

Interesting note: when ordering I noticed I had selected a Lowe's store that was a little farther away so I changed it to my local store. Evidently my local store was out and was showing the $179 price. So I'll be driving the 5 or so miles to save the $40.

Huh, I went to my local HD and got the shop vac at like 3 on Friday, they had plenty there. Of course living in Vermont sometimes has that benefit!

Sears online. 10% off all tools, automatically in Cart. Use coupon code "CYBER" for free shipping on top.

Not bad.

10% off all tools is very common at sears. Usually every other weekend if not every one. Either its the friends and family "event" or midnight madness. Was dissapointed in them for not bumping it up to 15% off or something. Pretty pathetic showing on their part.

True. 10% is pretty common, but 10% and free shipping on $49+ is not.

I'm not surprised that they didn't bump the discount up to 15% - there's no incentive for them to do so. They knew they were going to get lots or orders, so why give a bigger discount when it's not necessary?

If I had to guess, I'd think they'd save such a sale for the after-Christmas lull in sales.

You have to order from the Cyber Monday Page to order.

Edit: 36% claimed, 3 hours left remaining for the discount.

I got tired of checking individual product categories, so I just bookmarked the main hub link and change the category manually from the dropdown menu. Wish there was a way to filter several categories at once.

In case there are lightning deals again tomorrow, here are the special deals pages for:

Tools & Home Improvement
Automotive Motorcycle & ATV
Sports & Outdoors (knife/multi-tool deals)

It is "cyber monday", a once a year thing, so a little something extra in the discount department wouldnt have hurt them. Usually what gets me to purchase is either a combination of discounts or the 10% off on something i want that also happens to be on sale. Unfortunetly everything i want at the moment is regular price, and the 10% is so common i have no incentive to purchase anything today.

I think they just got lazy. At least do a string of special sales on specific items today similar to amazon [and many other retailers for that matter] instead of the normal daily deal.

As far as the free shipping. There is the in store pickup option to avoid that, plus i'm a ship vantage member [by accident] so its free for me year round anyway.
