It looks like they just pulled the SKU off their website. I don't know what this means as far as our backorders. (probably get cancelled??)

None available online. They are clearing them out and discontinuing them. Only 1 left in stock in one store in the country and I've got them holding it for me.

Just came home from Home Depot and found this. bought 2 to give away for xmas. it was in the sale area and not where all the drill bits were in the tool section. $10.00
I just went and picked up three of these for gifts. Lowes sent me a $10 off $25 purchase coupon in a email so I took that and got all three for $20. Thanks for the heads up!

You **** :lol_hitti

You can use a lowes coupon at HD?

I know that at least around here, both Lowe's and HD accept competitors' coupons for an identical item. HD wouldn't accept a Harbor Freight 25% off any item coupon tho :headscrat

Yea you have always been able to use competitors coupons and both lowes and home depot. I use harbor freight 20% off coupons at home depot all the time.

So you could buy anything in the store (HD or lowes) using a HF 20% off coupon!?
Or would you have to find the same item HF has and "add match it" using the coupon?

Why havent I been doing this?:wtf:
I had no idea

Gearwrench XL Flex X-beam Metric 7 pc set for $55 at Sears (reg $99)

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00910022000P

That's a good deal.. I bought the none X-beam flex heads this weekend when they were $44. My only worry with the X-beams is when working in tight clearance areas. Probably not an issue 85% of the time, but I can see if coming into play under the hood of a car.

I've used a 20% HF coupon at HD before when I bought my compressor. Had to go to 3 or 4 different HD's before I found one that would take it though. Most didn't want to..but I finally found a good manager at one that had no problem with it.

Saved about $200.

Now the coupons have a lot of restrictions on them...but HD and Lowes may not know that yet - so you might still get some real good deals if you can find the 20% off coupons without the small print.

Got one of these and am pretty happy with it. I would buy another at this price ($32), but there aren't any in stock in the area. And it's an online-only price, so I don't see why local inventory matters. I'm starting to feel like Lowes.com is as bad as Sears.com. They advertised a few items on Black Friday, such as the Skil X-Bench, but they were online only, not available to purchase online, and no stores had them in stock. WTH?!!

I would like more details on this as well. I spend tons of cash at HD. Do you take your purchase to a regular register or do you go to the information desk and ask higher ups? 20% over entire purchase or single item?

I have only ever used it on stuff like tools and shop vac's but I normally just take it to the register with me and they take 20% off one item. The one time I had a problem with them taking it I just told them that I called their corp headquarters and they told me yes that they would honor it and they went ahead and did.

I bought one of these as well. This thing is the bomb. I take it with me everyday when we do security system installations to clean up sawdust and sheetrock dust. Has a lot of suction for a cordless and has good battery life. 2 thumbs up

OOS at all the SoCal stores local to me.

HD had a decent little vacuum for awhile that fits in a Homer bucket, $20 less bucket last time I saw them. Corded, but with real vacuum power.

This is the type of item I expect to see CHEAP in the places that sell returns after the holidays.

Lowe's just pissed me off.
Found this 10 piece set for $10.
Went to the store, but apparently they don't match their online price
http://www.lowes.com/pd_278610-16878-50943_0__?productId=124040110

It says "online only" but I can't add it to my cart either, so basically I can't buy it.
It says out of stock for online purchase. I checked a few stores in another city, also OOS.
My local store has 6 sets in stock, just not for online purchase:headscrat

Mine says that, but it also says that the total charged was $0, so I am guessing it didn't happen.

I've used HD at Lowes and vice versa, but not HF coupons at those stores. Thanks....will give it a try.

Thanks Stuey!

I snagged the Irega. Now my adjustables are complete.

Are these nice quality?

You're welcome! I've been tracking it for a few weeks. it just now jumped up to $35 and change.

I still slightly prefer Channellock's Irega-mde wrenches over the Irega ones, but at a 30-50% savings the Irega will suit me nicely.

I think that Amazon's doing something funky with their cart system. After checkout, I added the wrench back to my cart and saved for later. It still shows $18, and stays at that price even at the final checkout stage.

But if I click on the product page link, it shows a price of $35 and change. huh?

edit: nevermind, after about an hour or so, the prices jumped back up.

MSC is offering 25% off of orders $249 or more. This also includes free shipping. Today through Christmas Eve. If you have been eyeballing some tools, this would be a good time to get them. This pic is taken from their homepage.

That Irwin set of tools isn't bad for the price. I have more bits and accessories than I need at the moment though so I can't really justify getting it for myself.
