City bus shop?? I'm impressed that you do in house internal engine and trans work, including dynos. I would guess that would pretty rare these days.

wow your shop is amazing. I wish my bus garage had half the stuff i see in those pictures.In jersey its almost unheard of for fleet shops doing in house engine repairs like that. i've been pushing for us to do it for years, but they dont want to upgrade equipment to allow us to do it

We have about 200 buses and they get about 50,000 miles per year on each unit. That makes for a bunch of work and quite a few engine and ****** rebuilds. We do almost all of our rebuilds in-house including small components when we can make it cost effective. Our component rebuild department stays dang pretty busy.
