Tool Aid Ratcheting crimper kit - $27 @ Amazon

LINK

This set seems to go for around $75 usually and I've been using a miserable cheap stamped steel crimper so I thought I'd pick it up. I'm *hoping* they actually send the kit and not just the crimper (which sells for around $27 normally)...

It's already back to $75.

at HF ( or at lest at mine) i got this break over bar for $3.25 on clearance..

SNAPON002.jpg

is that 3/8 or 1/2? length?

i had my brother buy and ship one of the $7 1/2 24" bars since my local HF didn't have any, but never hurts to have (another) spare :)

Is there a product number on it? Also the locking extensions others have said are on clearance are $20 here. I wonder why the difference?

Oops. I checked it right after I placed the order, but maybe there is a delay.

Did you have them actually scan the extensions? One of the stores I went to (looking for the impact swivels) had everything marked full price, but when they scanned it, it came up at the clearance price.

Here's a few deals to get you ladies wet...

28 Piece Punch and chisel set: $19.99
http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_669127_669127

or

8 Piece Prybar set: $12
http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200140724_200140724

Free in-store pick-up for both.

Also, if you buy enough stuff you can try to use coupon code 129010 for $20 off.
I think you might have to buy $100 or $200 worth of stuff for it to work though. Ya might want to check out some of their other hand tools as well for some decent deals.

usually you can't show ebay pages. But, you can sometimes right click on an image and either post that here or just post a link to the auction.

I'm not sure how great of a deal this is but the Home Depot near me has a double pack of makita angle grinders (4 1/2 inch if I remember correctly) for $79 apparently on clearance as the boxes are unopened. They had two left when I was there today... That's getting a makita angle grinder for under $40... seems like a good deal to me. If you all are interested you might want to check their clearance sections next time you go.

Just bought the Knipex too. Didn't need 'em, but the price was right. They are very nice compared to my old craftsman. Not sure where/when I'll use them, but nice.

I'm not sure what the deal is but this seems to be an annual thing. I picked up about the same deal about two years ago....

Interesting... does this count as a re-post then? :bounce: Anyway, how do you like them, did you get a chance to use 'em much? I've got a coupon I could try to use to make the deal a little sweeter, or try to negotiate on the price... what do you think? After reading the thread you linked to, I started thinking why it could be useful to have two of them... no more changing disks on the job...

HF 13 drawer tool chest is going to be on sale for $359.99 on Jan 14,15,16,17, so a 20% off coupon should stack on top and make it $287.20. YMMV. I'll probably try it out on the 14th.

January Blowout Sale Online Flyer
The 20% off coupon may be online, but I get one a week from Autoweek. It's regularly in a bunch of other magazines too.
You've got some searching to do. HF changed the coupon policy nationwide sometime ago. No more 20% tool cabinets or a number of other items.

HF is clearancing out their breaker bars...I picked up a 1/2" that was marked at a clearance price of $4.97 but rang up as 97 cents. YMMV.

Yup, the shorter 1/2" is $.97 and so is the 3/8". The long 1/2" is $4.97 as of last night.

I picked up the last two short 1/2" that they had, one of the long 1/2", and their last 3/8" last night. I figure I can either find a use for them or give them as gifts.

Now I feel cheated and to think I paid $3.77 for the 18" 1/2" breaker bar.

Does anyone know if HF will adjust the price on previously bought clearance items, or allow a return & repurchase?

I'm glad to hear it. I ordered quickly and didn't notice until after that the seller had something like an 83% negative feedback score, so I was pretty worried. Amazingly enough though, it got here today- faster than other Amazon orders placed before it and in perfect shape!
