Are Icon lights even any good? I have Fenix's for around the house stuff and Surefires for zombie apoc use...

I picked up three of the Rogue 2's this past Christmas from NewEgg for between 17 and 20 bucks a piece delivered. I gave a green one to the wife, put a black one in the bailout bag in my truck, and have made it a point to use the hell out of the third as a general purpose flashlight around the place.

I have no complaints. It took a little time to get used to the alternating high/low function when it is powered up, but other than that, we love ours.

I don't think that they are worth the list price of $50 though.

I am very happy with the ICON Rogue II. The machining was perfect and well designed. It has a Cree light which throws an amazing amount of light..

I try to get the best lights for my money, consequently Fenix is out of my range. I do own a Fenix E01, but it was only $4 on a deal.

The best value I've found in a light is the Nebo Redline. You can see my review on my blog here.

I've noticed that 'TLSTHANKS' doesn't work on all items, if I recall it doesn't work on 'online only pricing' items. Make sure you select "Sears only" when searching for items too. You should be able to stack both SEARS2011 and TLSTHANKS, I have a couple items in my cart without a problem.

I'd pull the trigger on the 299 piece socket set with this but they upped the price from 399 to 419 so it's pretty much the same final price as the other day.

I got the same thing, created an account, checked the box at the bottom to subscribe, went back through the ordering and it went through.

So i guess what your getting at is I shouldn't of posted the deal. It clearly stated in the ad that they would not ship for a few weeks and here you are complaining about it. Some people................

Thanks for posting the deal! Yes, I saw the super long lead time and included that in my expectations. Figured they don't have the item(s) in stock. Hopefully they will ship them eventually, as it was an awesome deal. If they end up canceling the orders, it was worth the try.

The Rogue II is a pretty darn nice flashlight. Back when I ordered it I added the Link to my wishlist. As soon as my next credit card reward card comes in, I'll be adding one to my daily gear carry.

i dont recall saying anything about anybody posting a bad deal,i like good deals, hell who don't.i just thought that whatever the shipping time was total to get to me,most places list a long time just to cover their ***,i guess im a big ******* idiot for assumming it would ship within a week and the other week or so was because the free shipping means its on the slow boat,if i had known one comment would have gotten so much attention i woulda kept my mouth shut, didnt realize i would get the third degree for a stupid comment that wasnt all that big a deal,if all amazon transactions take that long then hell no i wouldnt deal with them again, most of what i read from others was that it said that but they usually got items quicker so excuse me for being a *******,i guess a lot of people on here enjoy dogging somebody for making a comment,i didnt realize i had made such a life altering complaint that affected so many. i guess what i'm getting at is give a guy a break for not being perfect.maybe i misread or was drunk or whatever but damn thats no call to try and get the whole GJ to point out my every fault. screw it,,yall can hate on me all ya want,if it aint me it'll just be somebody else

if all amazon transactions take that long then hell no i wouldnt deal with them again

I used to always get my items within 4 days to a week. It took that long because I used the free, slow shipping. But that wasn't bad for free. Then i paid $79 to join Amazon Prime and I get everything in 2 days and the shipping is free. Except for items they don't have in stock like these files.

You're good man. This will all blow over.

Already dead. They are catching on to us over at Sears. If it were 1/2 drive I would have been all over that! I already got those little ones.

Yeah, I see what you mean.
It came up, and I had checked the short 18 & 19 socket too, but when I added to cart, only the sockets went in.
I guess this was a mistake right?
That would have been a pretty good deal, although I really don't need them.
I do a lot of "impulse buying" sometimes when things are on sale.

I have a question on the craftsman deepwell impact,s let's apply it to 3/8's and 1/2" drive as well.
If I took a 19MM (OD) lug nut and dropped it into the end of either 19MM socket, would it fall to the bottom of the socket, or just go about 1 inch into the socket.
My NAPA 1/2" drive Impact deep set is like this. (falls all the way in)
as is my 3/8 deep craftsman chrome.
Thanks,
Tony

I didnt really need them but for the price I was able to buy them before they found the mistake. I figuried it was a msitake because the SAE set was listed for $99.

halfway in on 1/2" impacts. The internal shoulder is a little deeper than Snap-on impacts is what it looks like to me.

Yeah, that would have been a pretty good price.
Did you buy the Extra 18 & 19?
Really should come with it IMO, but at least they make them.
Thanks,
Tony

I didnt realize it didn't come with them until after I checked out. I was in such a rush to get it thinking it was going to end I didnt check the sizes.

(I know this may not qualify as a "tool" but couldn't find a thread that seemed more appropriate. If there is, just let me know and I can move it. Thanks. )

These are low-end Craftsman but I bought 6 last night as a trial for some base cabinets. I like a taller worksurface so I will have to build them up to an adequate height - I will remove the casters and make stationary so I will use the casters for some other mobile projects I have planned - effectively the cost of each cabinet becomes about $40. They are only 4 drawer but since I have other boxes that work for the shallow items, these will hold more bulky items. I also plan to do a re-spray to match the overhead Craftsman cabinets I bought. We'll see how they work and if not, I can always find a place for them.

Note - this is an online price but after some discussion at the store, they did a price mod to let me take store stock. I believe the in-store sale price was $89.99.
