All the same i'd still argue the mail order warehouses are still receiving USA product as evident by the complete lack of chinese stuff people have gotten. I'm sure you'd agree, and its also self evident by the packaged dates as recent as 6 months ago, that the online warehouses cycle product at a faster rate than a store so if it were showing up anywhere first it should of been there, but thus far its only been in the B&M operations. :dunno:


Like i said i'd happily chance some more if i needed them.

Hi Skin, I would agree generally . . . recently I was "in-store" shopping for an unusual box-end wrench they didn't even have a slot in the display. So the clerk and I went to the online catalog and ordered it, free shipping BTW. When it came in the mail I was shocked to see that it was stamped with a "VV". Made me VERY happy indeed. :D

Thanks. Picked up this set for $55.56 after 10%, SEARS5OFF50, 5% Discover card cashback. Hopefully it's made in USA, otherwise i'll just return it.

Picked these up today and they are Made in USA and are marked as "Professional". Although the first set i got had two 11mm and no 12mm, they were able to get that sorted out when i went back.

Interestingly, the single Cman Pro wrenches on the shelf have the same part number as these and are also Made in USA, but are clearly different. The beam is a little thicker and less rounded and the marking is less deep. Not sure if they are better or worse :dunno:

I was seriously considering buying the floor blast cabinet from harbor freight. Been on sale for 199.99 for awhile. Checked again yesterday since it was getting close to easter and being able to use the 25% coupon and the sale price had jumped to 219.99.

$200 with 20% coupon = $160.00
$220 with 25% coupon = $165.00

Hmmm, looks like waiting for the easter sale was the WRONG strategy. I'll pass for now.

It's actually $16. 25% off $200 would've made it $150. Adding tax it would've been $16 cheaper. I'm just a little annoyed that the price went up by $20.00 ONE DAY before the larger coupon could have been used. Seems a little coincidental. But I'm nitpicky.

That Warranty quote is IMPORTANT! I checked into that recently and had me scratching my head wondering why they want to shoot themselves in the foot. People are going to be angry when they find out they won't warranty tools purchased in the used tool market, or even the secondary market (resellers). That Grey Pneumatic warranty quote is worth posting again . . .

I just ordered too, well it's $28.00 not $20.00.

I ordered over $100 of tools so I didn't have to pay shipping. Also a local hardware store sells GP sockets so I can get them replaced there if needed.

Also looks like they're putting a lock down on stacking coupons. At least the $5 off ones and AAA discount.

I guess the Amazon description says it has the 15 but Betas site says no.

The SC9I has the 15 but no 18 while the SC9E has the 18 but no 15. BTW, they are in a little plastic carry thingy.

Decent price on a set of Beta ratcheting wrenches. I couldn't find the exact part # on Beta's site. I'm not sure if it comes with a tool roll or a tray.
