FWIW, that Shoplet place actually offers a lot of tools from popular manufacturers, Dewalt, proto, armstrong, blackhawk, IR, sk, etc. So I guess there's a chance that the set that's listed is the real thing and not a shoulder rest? I think I'm gonna leave it and see what happens.

EDIT: I just saw it.. It lists all the correct info under product description, and then there is another product description further down that says that.. Hmmmmm. To cancel or not. I'm assuming it's probably that shoulder rest, but everything else points to the socket set.

I did a search of their homefront for "sockets" and got over 700 hits for products from the manufacturers I mentioned. Now, I dunno what we'll get, I'm just saying that since they carry other tools (or at least list that they do), it's not outside the realm of possibility that they do carry that socket set. Whether or not we get that set instead of a shoulder rest or a cancellation, who knows?

Those glasses are AWESOME. Extremely comfortable and lightweight with great crystal clear optics. The reviews that say you forget you have them on seem to good to be true, but I bought a pair a couple weeks ago and I have to agree -- you forget you're wearing them. I actually went back and ordered another pair because I liked them so much, especially at ~$5 shipped.

My turbo socket order was not through hugo's, it was through shoplet.

I bought three sets, 4 pc adjustable wrenches $18, 3 pc overlap pliers $15, and 3 pc lever action (compound) pliers $25, all prices incl shipping and I called and asked for combined shipping and they said OK (only about $2.50 less) bought the items at the same time and asked for an invoice with combined shipping when the payment window came up.

Titan is a "good" brand, seems like same source as Genius, Mountain, etc up scale Asian brands.

Yeah I noticed that but figured maybe he saw this "deal" a couple days ago (maybe it's been up on Shoplet for a while as a mistaken description), jumped on it, got burned and was searching the web for similar cases when he stumbled onto this thread. I hope I'm wrong though, and for now I'm letting my order run too.

I also ordered one set from Shoplet and the status very quickly changed to "Shipping Soon". That means it cannot be canceled.

If they ship something other than the sockets, I am sure Amazon will take care of the problem.

On Shoplet.com's website, they do not list SK's turbosockets, but they do list the shoulder pillow, as their item #833.

Eh I figure its a $10 gamble, I bet a lot more than that drunk while playing black jack so I will just ride it out and see where it goes.

Also I have not gotten a cancellation on the Irwin Screw Extractor set yet, maybe cause I was lucky number 1 I will get mine...hears hoping!

Amazon's customer service is top notch...as long as they are fulfilling the order. I have had less success when it is through a 3rd party vendor. Amazon will tell you to go deal with the vendor to resolve your issue. They will not play middle man for you.

But like others have said...it is well worth a $12 gamble IMO.

I also could not find the turbosockets on Shoplet.com, and alot of, if not all of their SK stuff seems to be out of stock. Looks grim but for the price, I have to hold out. Just hope amazon is cool about the return.

For anyone still wanting some bolt out sockets, the latest craftsman club deals includes 50% off their two bolt out sets, as well as a screw out set. Each of the 3 sets are normally $19.99 and are on sale to craftsman club members for $9.99 each. The two bolt out sets cover different ranges and I think include sockets that work for both metric and standard damaged bolts.

Tell them it's their mistake. Item listing said "Pack of 12", you received 1. You'll be able to ship it back at their cost.

My socket deal got canceled last night to with the following message (I ordered 2):

I just contacted Amazon regarding the nicholson file, receiving 1 instead of 12. They can't help (yet). I didn't know the marketplace was such a pain in the neck to deal with (in comarison to Amazon.com). Evidently I have to now go back and forth with the seller to hopefully find a resolution. I guess if they can't give a satisfactory resolution, Amazon will step in. I've sent the seller, "ReStockIt", an email on the matter. We'll see what happens next. It sounds like in the end, all will be well, it's just more of a hassle than when I've worked with Amazon CS in the past, due to using the Marketplace I suppose.
