You have very few posts and got an attitude with everybody. You don't use puncuation and capitalize letters, most people here won't respond to that type of mentality. Good luck with your build.

I like! Looks like you found a contractor.

I have a 32' x 28' hip under consideration. 10' and 14' doors on the long side. One thing slowing up pulling the trigger is that I hate to lose so much of my yard to a 26+ foot wide driveway and don't have the access to put door(s) on the short side. :(

Good luck with the build!

Excuse my ignorance, but what are the white sploches at the base of the walls?

-Jeff

Looks like they coorespond to the cutouts in the block on the photos above. I'm no mason so I have no idea what they are for...

rebar meet code. then thay fill the cells with concrete and then grind
them down to make it look better

Nice work BC. I understand your frustration with uploading the pictures. I found that by going to photobucket and uploading them there then inserting them to your post you get a larger picture and then you don't have to click on it. Photobucket is free and its not to tough to do.

My neighbor is in the process of building a block garage about the same as yours. The code for the rebar is a good idea, but I wonder what would happen if the inspector did not pass it? Does he come out while they are building it to see if it is proper code before they get the wall to the 10' level.

Keep us posted.
