After unpacking the 2 pack of Bosch grinders....this is probably one of the best deals I've been able to take advantage of, especially at Lowes.

Re: Craftsman 23 Drawer, 52 in. Combo - Black - 50% off

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_009H0029000B?adCell=W8

Half price tool chest and top box in a 52"

Good thru 9/6/2011

That's $500 more than it was in the spring.

When I was in Sears on Thursday picking up a butcher block top for my new tool box, I took a walk thru the Craftsman aisles and found a clearance rack. They had all the 14pc air tool kits marked down to $125 from $200, and the C3 cordless wet/dry vacuum half off at $25, among other things. Marked down hand tools included the Craftsman Professional low profile slim jaw adjustable wrenches. As usual with Sears clearance, your experience may vary.

FYI: Advance Auto Parts cancelled 2 of my online orders so far with BIG35 ($35 off of $75) coupon 2 weeks ago. I ordered just GearWrench socket extensions so, I'm guessing they didn't like that very much.

I just saw the 35 piece GW set. that is the SAME set my boss was trying to get, so i'm gonna have to let him know it's on sale.

that 56 piece is soooooo tempting...... How is quality in comparison vs Cman vs snap on?

I got that set at a higher but still cheap price....for under 18 bucks it's a no brainer! Pretty good quality and a big assortment of bits/extensions/drivers/etc in a nice case.

I bought the 56pc set. I don't know how good the bits are, but the quality of the ratcheting handles and the extensions is truly very good. For the money, it's almost absurd.

The GW ratcheting drivers are very formidable, an excellent SO knockoff. The R/L ratcheting switch moves opposite of SO, so if you're used to a SO driver you'll likely be a bit frustrated initially. I've got both GW and SO drivers myself.

All this talk of GW, I checked out Sears' GW wrench sets and they are 50% off plus 15% off. Also use the 5off50 coupon for another $5 off $50 order.

I hit Sears this morning too

Scored the GW ratcheting 8 pc set in metric and SAE for $34 each. Same ones in the link posted by sdnomad.

Also ran across the GW 49 piece pass thru socket set (thanks to dankicksass for the comment regarding the 49 pc being a better deal than the larger set that has one less ratchet ;) )

While I was about to check out, I noticed the GW ratcheting snubbies were also on for $34, metric and SAE.

Walked out with a smile :D

I picked up this set from Sears last year, and have to admit using it a lot more than I thought I would.

Very handy, nearly complete - it lacks a 1/4" ratchet.

Finish belies it's $19. price.

This is a luke warm deal for those members on the West Side of Phoenix. The Sears essentials store off of Peoria and a block from the 101 is closing to make way for a K Mart. All of their tools in stock are 25% off. Not a super deal but, if you need a socket or two, ratchet, wrench, a pair of Knipex, or another item that doesn't go on sale, 25% off isn't too shabby.

I just got the 56 piece ratcheting screwdriver set. It really is a great set... Not quite as good as the snap on but at less than a 1/4 of the price. the quality difference is less than insignificant. I am going to use the piss out off this set at work!

Heads up... while at sears both of the pass-thru socket sets were heavily discounted, including the one with the flex head ratchet.

Hey, I put in my HF order too lol but I got a lot of little things. I've spent a **** load of money this weekend on tools. It's a sickness lol

49 piece - $24.99

75 piece - $34.99

Both looked to be excellent sets. Sickeningly cheap price for what you get. The 75 piece looks to have larger size sockets, with a screwdriver/ bit holder set and the flex heat ratchet, while the 49 piece has 2 ratchet sizes and a 1/4 socket driver.

If you are going to get them or one of them I would get them today, cuz after this weekend the sale is over.

That's the way to do it. I used to bring my good stuff to work, and my cheaper stuff was for at home , now it's the other way around.

Just ordered for in store pick up the 8 piece Metric gear wrench, $36.37 OTD it was a No-brainer, less than $5.00 per wrench.

I used those gearwrench reversible ratcheting wrenches taking apart the front end of an 03 dodge ram and I really liked them.
