But at low boost 12psi, I'm sure it will be in the low 11's.
That should keep you pinned down in your seat for at least that amount of time!
The radius rod (for lack of a better word) on the upper control arm is interesting the way it goes so far back.
Thank you Mario,
The long one is the radious rod and the '' U '' thing is the swaybar. As Zengineer mentioned before it's also adjustable. It has a link that drops down and picks up on the lower part of the upright.

Un fortunately the car was T-boned by a Porsche at the Glen years later.

But I was the lucky guy to fix it. I have lots of negatives of that and more...... but I need to find an economical way to convert all those negs to digital. Any photo buffs out there can help me out?

This is the only shot of the restore I have.

Check out epson scaners my last one would do a lot of odd stuff but they **** at updates.......

Thanks Steel, I guess I'll wait a little and get one for the shop.

These projects are great...I just wish I had a tubing bender, what do you guys have for benders?

This is what I use.Lets just say it evolved.....It's slow and Rube Goldbergish but does a great job. Lot's of times I just sandbend one offs.

I have a base I bolt all my different dies and attachments to.

Here are a few pictures of my son's quad that I fabricated a new rear sub-frame for and a new +10" swingarm. All tubing is 4130 chromoly.

Here is another chassis that I build out of 4130 chromoly. It is constructed of 1"x .065", .875"x .065" and .750"x .058" tubing sizes. It is powered by a Suzuki GS1100 street bike motor. Both of these quads were featured in Jan./Feb 2010 issue of Sand Sports Magazine.

Any pics of the dies you have for the reverb chambers?

I play with a blank to see how far I have to press the ends in to get a proper sized hole.
Then I can make a mark on the side of all the blanks to get them all equal.

Be careful not to go too far or it will crush.:)

I've built many aircraft fuselages and other related weldments over the last 30 years. I'm into an old truck project now. It's a pleasure to be welding something much thicker than the .028 and .035 wall tubing I have been used to.old pictures 337.jpg

Nice work Mario.
Is that a mock up or do you really use those casters?

Actually the car does not need them yet and they are a roller bearing wheel. Wheelie bar wheels are much lower quality than you may have thought. They are available with quite good bearings.
Still hanging on the wall of my shop until I get 150-200 more HP. LOL

OMFG! 150 mile an hour castors! Sparks must come out of them at speed. One zillion rpm lol

The FC is a Reynard, what are the others?

They were all Reynards, but of different model years. The first one with a casting being the most recent.

Modded a rental Jeep for my kids when they were small.
Used leftover bends from the bin. I try to recycle with this kind of project
They out grew it big time lately. My 15 year old is 5'11''!!
Make me an offer.

Very very few drag cars stay up on the wheelie bars for any length of time. Idea is to get the front down fairly quickly to get it out of the air.
Never thought of wheel speed for those that do, yes it must get way up there. :eyecrazy::eyecrazy:

5045 revolutions per mile for a 4" wheel which should mean same RPM at 60mph or 10,090 for 120 MPH

Here's a gate that I just built for a buddy of mine.

This is for his historic property in Southern California that is an original Orange Grove ranch and was built in 1887 by his wife's great grandfather.

I designed the gate in Solidworks and built it all in my shop, including the Ranch placard which was a surprise gift that I did for his wife and her family....her parents still live next door to the property and it has great sentimental value to them.

Total gate width is 26'. The swing gate is 12' of that.

We installed the gate over the course of a few weekends with the help of our friends and family (and a lot of beer and tri-tip). :D

Started with this...

ZT, that gate looks freakin' amazing. I love the way you rolled the top section of the gate. I was going to do something like that on mine but the wife just wanted the top and bottom rails parallel. Do you have a tube roller for square tube or how did you roll the top rail? That is the one part I would have had to have done on mine as I don't have any dies for square tubing for my roller.

Here is a picture of my gate that I built about three years ago closing off the entrance to my shop in the back yard.

Thanks Mike.

Yes, I rolled the gate top here at my shop.

I have to admit....I bought a tool at Harbor Freight. :spit:

I bought their tubing roller when it was on sale and then ordered some new dies and "extension wings" from SWAG off-road. Troy makes new dies in almost every size you could want in round tube, square tube, or pipe.

He also includes new shafts with the dies and they are made really well. The wings make it so much easier to roll tubing...the top of that gate is 2" x .120" and while it wasn't easy...it did the job.

Your slide gate looks great. I still need to make one for the back of my property...I have a 32' opening that I have to build a gate for. :shocking:

I'm in the roller for about $500 total right now.

ZT, maybe I should have bought the HF version and modified it. I bought the Pro Tools version instead and after purchasing it and a few dies for round tubing didn't have enough money for the square. Plus I didn't think I would ever use the square again after the gate.

Here is the tube roller that I have.

After seeing how yours turned out I am wishing I would have done mine that way. I really like the looks of the curved toprail.

Not purely tube, but something I've been working on. It's a beater bag/post dolly stand. I still need to roll the rings for the dolly holder, the tubulat pivot for the hammer holder, and the base for the beverly shear.

I'm tig welding it all with 312L (the poor man's supermissle) since I'm going to either clear coat it or coat it with BLO or Penetrol.
