Couple things from the last week.

Bought the S-50 since I've never seen one in person before. I don't think I'll be keeping it. Does anyone have any info on it or the Honda wrench?

Stopped in the Snap On truck today and walked away with unplanned goodness.

Goodness indeed! I've been eying that die grinder ever since I saw it in the flyer... how does that horsepower feel? :bounce:

Nice hammers. The door skin one comes in handy.

Hot off the truck! Buy one get one free socket sets w/ trays (212SFSMY & 211SFSY Six point Deep SAE and Metric) were too good to pass up. The AWP65 i ordered came in as well. Also i've been thinking it was about time to get a new winter coat with the weather just around the corner. Been eyeing a Carhartt but havent found my size so i put it off a bit. Well in ended up being colder than HELL yesterday and i showed up with no jacket :shocking: so my SO guy sent me home warm with a new jacket . I'm set now.

Also this little Bosch concrete screw/drill bit set came in that i ordered through work.

48deg must feel like artic when you're accustomed to the generally warm climate. :shocking:

What is the part/model # on that coat?

Yes, DO tell!

I ordered the 5pc pliers set, 4pc locking pliers set, 3pc groove joint pliers set, and the 3pc single open jaw wrench set. They are all on sale for $9.98 each:

5-Piece Kobalt Pliers Set

4-Piece Kobalt Locking Pliers Set

3-Piece Kobalt Groove Joint Pliers Set

3-Piece Kobalt Single Open Jaw Wrench Set

I used a 10% movers coupon code (can be found at the post office) which brought my total after tax to $39.**. I selected free in-store pickup and received my confirmation email a few minutes later saying that my items were ready for pickup.

I get to the store about an hour later and my items were NOT ready. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes at least for one of the workers to grab the all items I ordered.

After receiving my items, I inquired about the 20 minute guarantee they had. The cashier went and get a store manager and I received a $25 gift card :)

I'm going to use the gift card online to order both the SAE and Metric combination wrenches at $9.98 each. I am also using another 10% coupon code.

Price after tax and shipping (they don't have the SAE in a store nearby, and I don't feel like driving 20 miles just to pick up the SAE set at another store) is $25.52

Minus $25 gift card = 52 CENTS for two sets of stubby combination wrenches (SAE/Metric)

Gotta love it

No pictures here but I just got my F80 today. My first "pro" tool. I'm a little scared about what I've gotten myself into.

Congrats!! It's a slippery slope from this point on!!

Funny thing, of all the snappy ratchets I have, I don't have what's probably the most common one and the one that's a lot of guys first snap on ratchet, the f80. Hmm.....off to eBay I go!

See how bad it can get??? :lol_hitti

oh boy... that is a slippery slope indeed. I also started out with a single F80 2 months ago to see what the big deal was... then sudden i own a T72, S80A, FL80, FLF80, PALMRAT, 2 ratcheting screwdrivers, and much more.... :shocking:

And i am just a home weekend warrior :shocking: STOP while you can.

I already put together my list of items to look out for. I'm really impressed with the smooth and precise action of the ratchet. I think the only thing that I don't like is the selector switch is not chrome and looks like an afterthought.

Also went to Harbor Freight and picked up some cheap stuff on sale (wobble extensions, impact extensions, hex/ball wrenches, and offset box wrenches)

well i asked about it in the harbor freight pass/fail thread and nobody responded.

i did some work for a friend this morning and left with just enough cash to pick it up.

7-1/4 worm drive saw

my first impressions: at 20lbs, this thing is f**kin' heavy. it's also very quiet compared to a regular circular saw. i can't comment on power. i don't use circular saws much.

Thanks to mom, I received these as a birthday present today. Mayhew Dominator 3-piece straight-blade prybar set (61354). They're very nice, and will see plenty of use.
