Maybe a lukewarm deal for some of you. Cripe distributing has a NAPA 14 piece 1/2 drive deep metric socket set on ebay. It runs from 10-24mm. The set is listed as US made which means it would be the old Danaher made Armstrong/KD/Allen/Craftsman style sockets without the current hi vis markings.

At $27 plus $11.50 shipping equals $38.50 or $2.75 a US made impact socket.

Me neither, on the items I ordered. Curious to see if they are cancelling all of these orders, or just the ones that somehow got in after a particular item was indeed sold out. I imagine we'll find out soon enough.

I talked to a person at JcWhitney and they apparently had 200 of the inverters to closeout.
When it hit slickdeals they received over 5000 orders. I guess it's not a real-time inventory system. They were in the process of "trying to get it removed from the site."
So the moral is that there was some actual stock to sell, and some may get that crackin' deal.

I don't see anything special on that amazon bosch sale, just their regular prices. You can't look at their "regular" prices as a point of reference as they are inflated and not reflective of real world street prices (or any previous price amazon has ever listed the item for). It's just their marketing.

yeah that's the one. i saw it in the store yesterday. made in china. the drawers felt very stiff. not bad for 300 bucks though
Yeah, it's just marketing. They watch your browsing habits and then send those types of emails out. I get 'em routinely and just trash them. Never once found anything better than their daily prices...generally just a waste of my time.

Color me surprised. I had no idea that was a regular price.
It felt ok. About like my 26 inch craftsmans. No comparison to my 41 inch griplatch, though.
At that price, one would think they would sell a lot compared to the regular craftsmans.
It even had supports on the lid.
