If something new is announced, it will probably be at the International Builders Show in a couple of days.

I saw somewhere where they already announced a new Jawhorse but I can't find the link. It has better wheels and is supposed to be easier to setup and take down.

Hey what luck have you had with amazon? I did your search and found some sets of tools at 76% off but... all of the descriptions are the same? and the seller only has 1 feedback... Have you ever been stiffed on Amazon?

oh and because you wanted people originally to post deals they find, here's a welder at 75% off

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000RH6JBA/?tag=atomicindus08-20

I've had great luck with Amazon, but there's one rule I follow with high-discounted tools -

1) only buy direct from Amazon.

3/5 times I see a really great sale by a 3rd party seller, something goes wrong. Either they sell too many and have too few, there's some kind of a listing mixup where there are 2,000 wrongfully-priced items they never sold before, or there's a problem with the description and instead of a "Lot of 10," only one item actually ships out.

I coded the search to filter Amazon-sold products, but it doesn't work 100% ideally. If there's a 3rd party item that's priced really low at 75%-off and Amazon sells it at full price, it will still come up in the 75%-off search.

But with Amazon-sold items, I'd say my success rate is 9/10. I went through all my 2011 purchases last night, and realized just how many such purchases I made.

I think you are referring to the Jawhorse SheetMaster. Stuey did a review on it back in Nov here.

I just discovered that my Amazon search tools were broken. I don't know when, but Amazon tweaked their structure a little.

BUT, they didn't change things too drastically and so I was able to repair everything. I checked it out on two computers, and my deal finder appears to be working properly again.

The noblemro website gave me error messages when I tried to checkout and create an account during the checkout process. However if I went to the create account link at the bottom of the page it allowed me to continue creating the account then led me right through the checkout. Like you said, probably get cancelled, but what the heck. I needed a small ladder anyway, so let's see.

Don't bother Cryo...
After spending too much time on their site I finally got an order in for the ladder.
I just checked my order status and it was cancelled.
Oh well.

SK CLOSEOUT! 13 Pc 1/4" Drive Metric Palm Control Socket Set $14.88

The one review states the ratchet thats included is not whats shown in the pic, but is the 40975 ratchet.

The fractional set is also on closeout.

Seems like a killer deal, in for a couple!

I signed up for the free 30 day trial of ShipVantage a few days ago on my last purchase, so I got free shipping as well. Now to remember to cancel that before they charge me $80...

Was just looking on this deal @ slickdeals to post here.

If the ratchet is really the 40975 - that's a great deal. Apparently that's the Tuff-1 high end ratchet that sells for $35 alone.

Hmm.... tempted to pick up both sets and sell one of the ratchets on ebay for around $15.

Agh, I bought a set of deep offset box wrenches I've been eyeing, must've worked on those then...

Those on sale too? ive been waiting for a set to go on sale as i dont have a set... have every other type of wrench i think... some i didnt know existed before garage journal

I think you need to buy something that isn't on clearance to apply the code. Not 100% sure on that though...

i wish i would have know that before i ordered :(

where the hoarders buy as much as they can because its a good deal.

I think you just described this thread and the members here, including myself!

Its hard to pass up a good deal when everyone is snatching them up and talking about how great it is. Even if you have no need for it! I think its a scarcity effect...

But yes, the people over at SD are crazy and buy as much as they can! Once a good deal is posted over there you beetter jump on it ASAP!
