Hey folks!
I had just finished installing a new fuel pump on my truck. Figured a better take a ride around the block. I past a house with this thing sitting at the end of the driveway so I pulled over and knocked on the door.
The guy said he had just posted it on Craigslist for free. I offered to save him the headache of dealing with Craig's and take it off his hands.
He said he always had a hard time with the pressure switch not always working and he was tired of it.
I said I would likely install a new motor and pump on it to which he said the pump was only about a year old.
Neither the pump nor the motor are original obviously as there were new jokes drilled in the mounting plate for the motor.
I think it's an 80 gallon. Haven't looked inside to see the condition yet.
Anyone recommend a good pimp and motor to put on this beast if the tank is usable? Id like it to replace my LOUD oil less craftsman 40 gal and maybe run some air tools with my brain intact
