WOW... That is EXACTLY how my top drawer is set up for my HF cabinet. Only difference is both SAE and metric sets of mine are the Armstrong versions and only 13 wrenches each. I just ordered the Ernst racks like this last night and will still need the ones for my stubbies.

Thanks
I think the snap on racks will probably work best for the stubby's. The ernst are more portable as all of the wrenches stay put in a holder.

I get mine at Princess Auto for about $8 each. They are black plastic, have a handle and 3 magnets on the back side to secure them to the drawer bottom. I cut the handles and magnets off and trim the racks to length based on the number of wrenches in the set. I use my table saw for the cutting and trimming. It works great.

I use the Snap-on strips. I really wanted to like the Ernst set more, but they are taller for no reason...

I'll probably order a couple of the Cornwell trays next Monday! Those are pretty cool!

Do you recommend getting the small style or large style snappy rails/racks for the stubbys?

Edit: I ordered the Ernst rails not racks.. sorry

Has anyone ever use the ernst wrench tower? I keep my most used wrenches on top so it would work.

Not sure, never owned them before. They just look like they would be better for the stubby's from the pictures I have saw. Hopefully someone on this thread probably has some experience with them.

I'm in the process of making my own. I made one out of 1/2" copper for stubbies. For some longer wrenches I'll be making one out of abs pipe cut in half. it may not be the best, but its cheap, and customizable

I like the sort-a-tool, but I'm cramped for space with a small box its actually not that great

I have the Earnst and thought they'd be fine but I'd really like to find (or make) some that hold the shank more verticle than slanted so they can be closer together. The Earnst still end up taking up a lot of real estate. I know slanted makes it easy to see the size but like many I can grab the right size without seeing the size.

Just like the post above mine ...look up ^^^^
