Napa Evercraft crow feet wrenches.

$10.79 SAE
$2 more for metric.

Thanks! Just bought both. Been looking for a while. I didn't want to spend a lot for something I wouldn't use much. The reason I chose those is the plastic case. Most I've seen were just loose.

Looking on napa's site regarding Evercraft, some tools are warrantied others are nor. The price seems to be a big factor on that, the $15 socket site has no warranty but the $25 one does.

Also has anyone seen a good price on the hansen socket trays lately?

amazon has had them for the best I've seen (actual hansen ones anyway).

I know i've bought mine as 2 'sets' of all 6.

The breaker bar was originally listed for something like $21.99 (sorry, Im using my phone to post this). When I ordered mine there were 3 left. Princess Auto had a deal where they would discount the cost of shipping by up to $49 on all orders. It cost $29 to ship the breaker bar, but since they would eat up to $49 in shipping charges, they didnt charge me a dime to ship it via Canada Post. Since I live in the States and not Canada, there was no tax either. So basically I got a $50+ breaker for less than the cost of shipping.

received my breaker bar in the mail today , and then i dropped it on my tile floor and chipped a tile :(

Got mine too. Cost them more to ship than I paid for it, and I'm just over the border.

This breaker bar is big. A deal here just on a per pound basis!

I saw this last night but I passed.

They don't make an imperial set in a traditional holder, they only have a $50 set that comes in a nylon pouch.

I only use metric occasionally, so it's pretty much useless to have only Metric of something, no matter how good the price.

Picked up both Napa metric and SAE crowfoot sets for a total of $24 with tax. Nice quality set and you sure as heck can't beat the price. Thanks everyone! I have been wanting these for a while now!

The Sears Parts and Repair store on Kings Road (off Miller Road) in Garland has this 5 drawer tool box on sale Saturday only for $67.50 (75.00 less 10% Saturday sale). Not bad for an extra or a throwdown if you need one. I posted a separate thread for those that don't check here often. Happy hunting.

Here's some warranty information from a NAPA dealer's website:

http://www.dmauto.com/Pages/About/Warranty/BK/

Scroll down for the Evercraft stuff.

I'll have to check out the store next door when I'm on lunch here in another hour or so. I want that basketball to go with my NAPA football.

Warranty sounds fine to me, apparently some issue with it being in a set, not individual parts, but it just tells the store how to replace items out of existing sets.

From the link ....

All NAPA/Evercraft hand tools are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for as long as the customer owns the tool. The Lifetime Guarantee includes all hand tools with the excep*@#$tion of the following:

Handtool Sets: Since all sets are made up of individual Evercraft hand tools, the individual part numbers can be replaced separately, in lieu of replacing the entire set. The following sets should be excluded:

Special Sets: The following Evercraft Tool Sets do not currently offer individual replacement units for these wrench sets.

Part No. Description

776-0125 8 Pc. SAE Crowsfoot Wrench Set
776-0126 10 Pc. Metric Crowsfoot Wrench Set
776-0215 3 Pc. SAE Flarenut Wrench Set
776-0216 3 Pc. Metric Flarenut Wrench Set

That is actually incorrect. It says right on the box, "lifetime warranty". I asked the guy at the counter and he said they would have no problem replacing it if it failed. No receipt necessary.

I think what that warranty is saying, that since they do not sell the pieces of the set individually, they will just replace the whole set in a warranty situation and not the individual failed piece.

Gotcha. Just wanted to make sure that his statement did not scare anyone away from the set.

I would like some items but my phone browser won't get me to Amazon direct items/prices. Maybe it's Opera 10?

Will truck brand crow feet fit in the Napa bird foot plastic molded case's?

Unlikely since the molded case fits to the outside of the crowfoot, not any part with a defined dimension. Case wastes too much space for my taste. I plan to use the Snapon holders.

Got that gun as a stocking stuffer. Works GREAT! I won't say it's Fluke quality, but I did test it against a Fluke gun that our facilities guy at work has, and they both reported identical against a half-dozen different sources.

That price is the normal price. Available from multiple places all for $15 shipped. No hurry as it won't go out of stock.
I think you're better off getting this one instead:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017L9Q9C/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Or search for Fluke or Rayteck as they are established brands and can be found for not much more. Though $15 is hard to turn down....

Just got both the Evercraft sets, have to wait on the metric to come in. They can be ordered at the sale price and be there in a day or two. I've also been waiting on getting some, never used them and know there will be a time I will definitely need them for under $25 that is a great deal.

They are made in Taiwan for those that care. Full warranty is listed on the side of the cardboard cover.

Glad to know they're not made in China. I just ordered both sets. I already had a Craftsman metric set but they didn't have the nice blow molded case and with the lifetime warranty on the Evercraft's I figured why not. And btw, the crows feet flare nut wrenches work awesome on old rust welded gas lines which I'm working on right now. (What a biaaatch.) They really grab. Least the Craftsman ones do.

Also, when I ordered mine I asked what happens if they need to warranty/replace the set but let's say it's discontinued and not available anymore and he said then they would just upgrade you to to a similar set.

More likely than discontinue, they keep it same name, same box, same look, made in China at some point, but its also fair to assume NAPA keeps the quality at the same level regardless of COO.
