what is PRC?

peoples republic of china... well at these prices that's my guess

I wish I hadn't just bought most of that stuff. How did you sort out the stuff on special?

go to this link:

http://www.princessauto.com/pal/currentSaleView.jsp?eventId=76819

on the heading "Current Sale items for":
use the "drop down" menu... select "all sales"
change the drop down that says "view 15" to "view 90"
then just go through I think 12 pages of items

note: a lot of items are out of stock... and some items are in store only

it's basically the HF of Canada... so you need to be careful on pricing... but the no tax and free freight makes some things a good scoop

That price is the normal price. Available from multiple places all for $15 shipped. No hurry as it won't go out of stock.
I think you're better off getting this one instead:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017L9Q9C/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Or search for Fluke or Rayteck as they are established brands and can be found for not much more. Though $15 is hard to turn down....

2nd the Kintrex gun. I have a HF gun and the Kintrex is more accurate (no surprise). Kintrex doesn't break the bank, but it is twice the cost, so if you don't mind spending the extra, it's still a good value.

This gun isn't the HF gun, and the Kintrex is more than 3 times the price.

Depending on which one of Sear's sales they have going on, you can get the bolt cutter, with store pickup option for around 33.**.

Yep, and if you have anything else to pick up such as end nippers, you can use the $5 off $50 code and get it for more like $29.

None of these are a hot deal imho. So further discussion belongs elsewhere. Feel free to start a thread and I'll give you more reasons why you want to spend a little more.

I've tried ordering and keep getting an error, do you know when this promotion ends?

Don't know when it ends, bit it's for pickup only. Guess I should have mentioned that. I'm not sure if B&M prices are the same.

Just click
BOPiS_FIX_BTN_139.gif
and pick up at your local store.

RE: rags in a box

This is an advertised special in my local ad and in the store... you can just stroll into the store and pick them up. Its not a secret online sale.

I wish we had this store her in the U.S.A.! Are the tools pretty good and strong, or do they wear down easy like some of the Harbor Freight type tools? (Which I do have quit a few of, LOL).

Their stuff is fairly decent for the money. I actually have their impact sockets and they are decent. Breakers bar are ok, they come on sale for $10-15 for the 3/8 and 1/2". Broke 1 breaker bar before. Picked up a few mayhew cold chisels (made in USA). Picked up some SJTW wire to make my own cords.

They got low end to some good stuff. Good place to walk in and get something quick. eg. 1-1/2" wrench.

I believe they get some things from liquidators or close out sales. 1 day you will see it, then the next they will never get em back.

Bought an ingersoll rand impact gun from them. No problems with it.

This is pretty much how I use Princess Auto. The only thing I've bought online was that big 3/4 breaker bar recently that I noticed on this thread. I really like to go to the store and handle things because it has a mix of true **** and some really acceptable tools, I like to see them in person.
