Got my Princess Wrench sets and Impact set today. I am guessing part of the reason they were cleared out was from packing damage. Wrench set had broken tabs on the hold down latch deal and the impacts holder was all but destroyed so sockets floated around everywhere in the box.

There is no COO on any of them that I could see. Wrenches were on the thin side but will work great to put in the vehicles. Impacts look like they will work fine and the box they came in is nice, although to me the latches are put on upside down. One thing I wish I would have looked at the sizes closer, the deep only go to 3/4" and I think 19mm, which are too small for a lot of lugs. Overall it will work nice for the air ratchet though.

I agree, I ordered the impacts only and the packing was damaged, however I am very pleased with the sockets. $20 bucks and free shipping

Interesting timing. I picked up 2.5 gallons of grass/weed killer (41% glyphosphate) at tractor supply, on sale for $40 (normally $50). They also had the 2-4D weed killer right next to it. Go to the 'Farm' section in the store to find it, it is not with the regular weed killer in the lawn/garden section. I suspected that when I went in, but I can't say I'm pleased they don't have it all in one place, pretty much sets people up to pay way too much for something that is functionally equivalent in the same store.

They would have both of these products in most any agri-supply store I think. Glad to see it was at Tractor Supply as there is one pretty near my house.

So the reduced price of the grass/weed killer at TSC, coupled with relaying the knowledge that you can use these products as substitutes for much more expensive products, make these posts belong in this thread.

Say, I have an idea .. what about a subforum where there could just be one thread dedicated to this so people that don't care can easily skip over it?

:canworms:

The round-up is pretty safe...it's a "contact" killer.

The 2-4-D is something else.......it gases up as it warms up. That means it can become really hazardous to yours and your neighbors broadleaf plants. Like flowers in their yard and any tomatoes and other things in a garden. You don't want to use it after gardens have been planted. It can travel long distances...it's kind of like an odor in the air. If you can smell it, it will damage broadleaf plants near you.

While at HF this week they had a stack of 25% off One Item coupons good only on Easter Sunday, 4/8.

MY Lowes and HD both match them.

I tried buying this but I never got an option to ship to store. Is there something I'm missing?

Looks like they changed it, or it changed when they went back ordered. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago and it gave me an option of about 5 stores to pick it up from. I choose the concord store and it arrived in about a week and a half. I would call them and ask.

Irwin model 380 hand saw made in Germany $10.00 and a $10.00 mail in Rebate. So it's free so to speak.

Wow, I wish it was that way here I would be all over a Milwaukee M12 ratchet.

Why not use the Northern Tool $20 off $100 code that Pro-Painter posted from Feb (thx, btw)? You get the M12 3/8" ratchet kit w/free shipping for $129.99. Plus Milwaukee has a promo going on till the end of the month for a free M12 Cordless XC High Capacity REDLITHIUM Battery, M12 Cordless HACKZALL Recip Saw, or M12 Cordless 3/8" Right Angle Drill.

I did that and just got my free XC batt from Milwaukee last week. Only took about a week or so for it to come. Just be aware of the Northern Tool bait and switch on the free "UPS Ground" shipping. It's really UPS Surepost.

Someone asked for this coupon, i have attached a 150dpi image to print. You may have to adjust it's size.

If I could use any of the rebate items, I'd do it, but all stuff I have or don't need. Not a good time for me to be buying stuff, but I'll be back into soon I hope.

For anyone who missed this.
Menard's has had the same one on and off for about 2 months. Ranging for $20 -$35 depending on the sale.

Man, I've been following this thread pretty religiously and I missed this. I even went back and couldn't find it. Have a link?

I got my wrenches in fro Princess Auto and they were not well packaged and the plastic carrying case they came in was all broken into pieces. The wrenches are made in India but for $10 shipped I guess I can't complain. I looked at the invoice and it cost PA $24.50 to ship these to me lol. :lol_hitti

I got my shipment yesterday. Everything was in good shape. I wonder if they were already in that shape before they were shipped.
