My first post, I have really enjoyed perusing through all the great information and knowledge on these pages, but on amazon there are a lot of Snap-On affiliated tools at ridiculous low prices. Just look up MRO (I am not linked to them in any way) as the seller. There are JH Williams wrench sets for 3 bucks and CDI torque wrenches for 3 - 10 bucks. Not sure how this can be legit but I ordered some stuff anyways.

It isn't prime eligible, so Shipping and Handling does apply.

Ordered a load of tools from them just now. Ridiculous prices. We'll see if my orders get cancelled now.

Ridiculous prices like that usually means massive back-end pricing errors. Has happened a couple of times in past few months.

Inevitably there is a post or two on a forum that says SOMEONE actually got their orders.

Obviously we can never tell if its true, but its worth a shot!

I placed an order earlier this morning and another one just now (I was in a rush this morning)

Part of me has always wondered if you place an order for a non-mistake item along with mistake items, does that increase your chance of actually getting EVERYTHING.

Boy that was an expensive first port! Assuming my order goes though I just spent $200 for about $500 worth of tools or about $1k worth if the tools were red instead of Blue!

ETA - Well that didn't take long. From MRO...

Pretty sure this is dead now, tried placing an order and things kept getting removed from my cart. Guess it took me a little too long to figure out how to search for the seller.

Oh well, guessing the orders won't come through anyway :)

There are already items showing not available when you get further in the screens.

I have been looking for a good 3/8" TW, so I tried my luck. I ordered one.

Without a link, I am blind as a bat. I went to amazon and there is no search feature for seller (as I said I am clueless with this online stuff).

I thought I was clever and searched on amazon for a "JH Williams wrench" but none was at the advertised $3 and did not see any MRO seller.:dunno: All the big fishes here seem to know exactly what to do.

Don't feel bad, I had to do a google search to find out how to search by seller :dunno:

It's all gone/ done now anyway, so you really didn't miss anything.

Being that the mistake isn't from "amazon" but from a seperate seller, there is a high probabiilty that nothing that was 90%+ off will get shipped. If it was Amazon was the seller they would **** it up and ship it out. The "little" guys can't afford to sell stuff for those prices.

Yep, just got cancellation email for the order I placed earlier this morning.

Oh well, was worth a shot.

Played with my Brownline torque wrench a little last night....definitely a cool device. I especially like the fact that its basically a beam wrench in disguise, so the calibration should stick pretty well for a while.

I received the same email, everything was cancelled. I figured it was worth a try, but as usual if something is too good to be true...

If anyone is looking any affordable garage shelving that is easy to install check out the company in my signature! =)

I hardly call $85 plus the cost of lumber for what amounts to 2 pieces of angle steel and a length of flat steel a hot deal.... If you want to advertise your product buy an advertisement and support this site:beer:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015014PO/?tag=atomicindus08-20

and

another SAE gearwrench socket set for either 8.99 or 9.99 could have even been 12.99... sorry can't remember (not looking for sae so that's why the brain fade) (less 10% tomorrow)

Got my $22 saw horse/work station things from HD today, these must be a hot item as I had a guy try and take my cart with them in it while I was looking at some other stuff. He knew how much they were but couldn't find them in the store. Told him I ordered mine online and couldn't help. I saw the ladders in the isle up front with other clearance stuff but no saw horses. Also bought another box of the $10 towels that were listed on here several pages back.

For anyone getting them they come folded up in a rather small package, I took a truck in and didn't need to.

Also got them to take my 20% HF coupon with no questions on a $200 drill so I am happy. Probably helped that I bought the $25 extended warranty before I provided the coupon.

Does anybody know if the in-store HD price on the ladders is the same, or do you have to pay online?

I bought both in store for same price today. They also have a 3rd one for 50% off. It's like a folding stepladder that is for indoor. The type with a top handle and 3 plastic steps. It's $16. Thanks for the heads up. I bought one for $44 at Lowe's last month and took it back after I left HD.

Received the WIHA hammer today. What a solid deal. Looks and feels great. Very comfortable grip. Perfect weight distribution. I got zero vibration from the test hits. Haven't fully put it to use yet but you know a great tool when you have it in your hands.

Werner 4 ft. Aluminum Step Ladder 225 Lbs. Load Capacity (Type II Duty Rating).
$19

I just picked up the work platform for $22. They had a bunch of them and the $19 ladders. Well hidden though, not near the ladders in the store, but tucked away back in the lumber section.

I picked up a 4ft ladder at the depot yesterday, thanks for the headsup. I have a nice 6ft fiberglass and a 2ft aluminum and a werner platform already but always wanted a 4ft and now have one.

Also picked up some scott's fertilizer and got a free gallon of weed spray and picked up an ames plastic garden cart for my grandma. It is made in the USA and has a two year warranty and has four wheels. Will be nice for her to use around the yard.

Also picked up 100 dollars in valves, 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4". There was a big cart of clearance items in the plumbing section with all sorts of these quarter turn ball valves. I needed two for my air compressor and the rest will be for....future use somewhere!!!

I'm looking for a portable 'work bench' , as my HF one is a POS and doesn't store well. Will those platforms function in that manner? E.g., can I clamp a miter saw to it and go, etc.? Or is that not advised, doesn't have the underside for it?
