OK Folks, I was able to grab 2 more Ryobi laser levels from HD for $29.03 each.

I will be happy to mail them to anyone who can't get one locally for the $29.03 plus tax ($2.75) plus shipping via USPS medium sized flat rate ($11.35) which comes to $43.13 to the lower 48.

USPS money order

I will also take Paypal if you add $1.50 for the fees they would charge me.

1st two people to confirm they want one (via PM) get them.

BTW: I removed both levels from the box and checked to make sure they powered up and had vertical and horizontal lines. They both appear to be functioning just fine.

Picked one of these up today. $28.06 after my military discount.

CPO is offering the M12 kit with 1/4" hex impact driver and 3/8" drill, two batts and charger for $119 this weekend. That is a REALLY good deal, considering the 1/4" impact kit alone is usually $99. The CPO kit is apparently recon, tho.

And I'm not sure if the link will work? CPO sets it up so you have to access straight from their email (tricky).

Another GJ member reports the forwarded email gets them the $119 price, so if interested pm me an email address and I'll forward.

Well I purchased one. It came with some rust and light engravings on the back. Still looks strong and the ball detent moves. Ready to send it back but of course with having to pay for shipping it doesn't make much sense. Anyone here want it? $15 + shipping. It should fit and ship for about $11.

I also bought a 3/8" speeder from the same company, but it also had rust on it. The 90 degree section was bent to about 95 degrees. I'd let it go for $5 + shipping.

What does everyone think about the Gladiator stuff, with the current sale? At full price I know its way too expensive but with the 30% off Craftsman Club sale, does it come down to a price where it might be an option?

Ive always wanted to build my own cabinets, but at the sale price the Gladiator stuff is probably not much more than Id pay in materials, and oh yeah I dont actually have to build them!

That is as good of deal as you will be able to find. My wife has access to the Whirlpool VIP website and the Gladiator storage stuff at the current Sears prices are less than the Whirlpool VIP pricing.

Stick to the "Premium" line and you will be really happy. The 30" wall Gearboxes at $97 are a great deal! I have 5 of them in my garage (at $99 each). The Tall Gearbox (not the Jumbo - it is not built like the other Premium cabinets) and the modular GearBoxes / tool chests are also a good deal at these discounts.

I think that Sears didn't mean to price the Gladiator stuff as cheap as they did. If you look at the Craftsman club ad you will see that non-members are supposed to get 20% off (which they are), and members are supposed to get an additional 10% off (for 30% total).... NOT 30% off the 20% discounted price! When you stack $15 off $100 (APRILSAVINGS) or $35 off $300 with the VISA card discount on top of the other two discounts it just gets really silly.

Now if Sears will just put the black/platinum Craftsman metal storage shelves on steep discount I can complete my garage... :)

Thanks for the info.

Just ordered 2 30" wall gearboxes and 1 each of the tall Gearbox and Gearlocker.

I figure I could have built a little bigger (depth wise) for the $$$, but since Ive been talking about doing it for 6 years now, who knows when it would really happen.

Now lets just hope Sears places the orders and gets the stuff in fairly unharmed (none in stock at my local stores, 5-7 business day order time for free in store pickup)

BTW, in addition to the coupon codes, I went thru an affiliate site and got an additional 8% cashback. Covers tax and a little extra for my time I guess :)

Via SlickDeals, Sears has several Gladiator pieces at ~50% off for Craftsman Club members after APRILSAVINGS coupon code.

http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/724...eals.net+Frontpage)&utm_content=Google+Reader

Update: I just ordered two (more) 30" wall cabinets. As we know, the Sears websites can be frustrating :willy_nil. I couldn't find any mention of the SKU # or "Gladiator" or "Gearbox" on the Craftsman Club site, but I was able to order them via the regular Sears site. Once I entered my rewards/club number at checkout, the club discount was applied.

Where did you find the 8% cashback at? I didn't bother looking, because in my experience with Shop Discover many times you won't get it from Sears if you also used a coupon on the purchase. Hope your luck is better.

networktoolwarehouse (ntxtools.com) always has a BOGO (buy one get one) deal going and I found 2 that are actual good deals-

1.- buy 22pc Gearwrench LONG metric wrench set, get 20pc sae/metric stubby wrench set free, while viewing the product info, a popup will appear on the bottom saving you another 6$, then click on the red button at the top of the page to save an additional 5 or 10$ bringing the total to 112$ plus ship
http://www.ntxtools.com/network-tool-warehouse/KDT-81916-p-BOGO.html

2.- buy 12pc metric flex ratchet wrench set (complete 8-19) get 4pc large wrench topper (21,22,24,25), click the red button at the top of the page to save an additional 5 or 10$
http://www.ntxtools.com/network-tool-warehouse/KDT-9901-p-BOGO.html

these guys also have the best prices on impact hex/torx sockets

Just got back from the sears store in lawton.....they had their individual line wrenchs on clearance. USA ....$1.97 each. I was late, got 1/2-9/16 and 5/8-11/16 and a couple of metrics about the same. They had already sold out of the other sizes. Also had some of their usa sockets marked 97 cents. I bought all I could use. I think they will be on sale to they're gone because they put little pink stickers on them.

Thanks for the heads up. I have been looking for line wrenches. My Sears had them marked clearance @ $8.97 but when scanned they rang up $1.97. I was able to get all 10. Five metric and five SAE. I would've like to have known which sockets were also clearance but I wasn't going to have him scan the whole wall.

Menard's had their nuts and bolts on clearance again this morning. Looks like the leftovers from the sale last month. They also had added sets of Allen screwdrivers for $6.99. They looked kind of cheaply made to me.

Lots of M12 threads here and many people who would disagree, myself included. I use both the tools in that kit often and am pleased with them. I keep the 3/8" drill at the mill with a countersink chucked up at all times and de-burr multiple holes everyday with it.

+1 - I've had the M12 Drill\driver for about a year now and so far so good. I wish the battery lasted a little longer but that's my only minor complaint with it.

I've thought about picking up the M12 3/8" impact driver but I will say that it seems under powered, to the point of almost being useless?

would that be lawton AK or HI ?

Lawton, oklahoma..... and the sockets were just hit and miss, imo. I got a swivel 3/8 drive spark plug socket 13/16 and some 3/8 drive screwdriver bits (common) and some /8 drive allen heads. Odd, but it looked like the things that sold slowly were what they were tryiing to get rid of. I hope they decide to get rid of all their individual sockets; I would like to go back and get a set of deep 1/2 drive and 3/8 drive deep sockets.

Someone with the Ryobi laser help me out, I think mine is DOA. All I get is a white light, no red laser at all. What gives.

It thinks it's out of level so it shuts off rather than give you an incorrect line on the wall. Make sure it's sitting on a relatively level surface as it can only self-correct so much, and make sure it's not locked (look for the padlock symbol in the little cut-out).

An XC battery will fix that complaint.

An XC battery will address that concern. It's a very different tool w the XC battery, but it's never gonna be a 1/2" impact.

I keep mine at the lathe with a hex bit loaded up, allows me swap jaws on my 3 and 4 jaw super quick. Awesome.

Did all those things but no dice. I also have to hit the power button several times for it to come on.

I think they are giving these things away because they are not worth a ****.

First one I bought wasn't plumb. I posted a pic a few pages back where it was checked against my Dewalt laser and a level.

Second one I got was level and plumb, but the "white light" shuttoff doesn't work. But since it is plumb and level, I'm keeping it for projects where I need multiple alignment checks.

But my overall impression is, it is not worth more than the $30 I paid for it. Certainly not a $100 plus tool. My batting average on these is 100% defective out of a Universe of 2 samples. YMMV.

They all seem to have the wrong tags. You will have to have it scanned to get the correct price.

Just picked up a bunch of flex 3/8 and 1/4 drive 6pt sockets @ $0.97 each. I just grabbed several I wanted and about 50% scanned clearance.

Watching this thread paid off again. Went to sears and saw the flare wrenches marked individually at $18.97, or thereabouts. Asked the old man at the counter to check one for me and it came up $1.97. Got one 3/8x7/16 shy of 2 full sets. Anybody get an extra 3/8" x 7/16"?

I got a 24 piece screwdriver set. Was marked 26.99 but it rang up as 18.99. If anyone goes to Sears it's worth a check.

I didn't have problems with the tek4 level. I even checked it against a bubble level and both the vertical and horizontal are accurate.

When you have it inside the protective housing and it's all the way down and locked... make sure it's on a completely flat surface. The "white light" is telling you are not on a level surface and it's beyond the auto level fixing it.

I didn't know whether to keep it or not...but after playing with it and looking at other laser levels on youtube... I'll keep mine...works as advertise.

I set my Ryobi up in the basement and did a quick check on the seams in the block foundation walls, didn't look good. Then I realized I had to unlock it and things looked better but still had me worried. So I hung a plumb bob from one of the rafters and aimed the level at he line in the dark room and the entire line lit up at once so it's good. The walls however are another story...

Damn, I don't NEED any of those, but WANT them.

The kit comes in at $99.98. I added it to my cart, but don't see anything about the free cable cutter deal?

The link he quoted and the link he posted are identical...
You know, I think you're right after looking at the pics again. But I do remember there was a different kind in store that had a more round thin profile handle which I did not like at all and I thought the 33442 were those, and the 99442 were the flatter "beam" style. They do have two different part numbers and are not subject to the same discount at the same time, but they have the same price. The only assumption to be made is that the COO is different, and that the 99442 are probably not US made. Oh well.
