About to place my order... Are there any gems or sweet deals that I might have missed? There are a TON of items on their site!!
Was working on my order and it quit working for me also.

Anyone want to help me? I don't have a credit card, but I do have Paypal, which Epstein's doesn't take unfortunately. I want to order a Products Engineering 12" Combo Square and a 6" Double Square.
Website navigation is horrible...I want to support them but I can't find much

Oh, and for those of you who order the loverly 3/8" dr. Wright ratchet.... they were made in 1996! They need lube. Remove the spring clip with two little screwdrivers and put some RLL in there (Permatex engine assembly lube.) A nice ratchet becomes even nicer!
I can't put my finger on why this is one of my favorite ratchets right now. It's either the fairly fine teeth, the clicking noise they make, or just the balance of the handle, or all three.
Any ideas on where to buy the Permatex stuff locally? I know it's online, but I'd hate to spend 2x on the shipping. I usually use ATF or Dupont lubes for my ratchets.
What I ordered:
* Vaughn 3 lb. ball peen hammer (I've never peened anything before, but you never know...)
* Eka knife. Needed a basic folding knife for the shop, didn't want to buy the cheap Chinese junk at WMt. At $14ish for Swedish, can't complain.
* Milton S436 Schraeder valve caps, metal. I don't know if they have these, but I asked. I think they have more than their site shows sometimes.
* Milton 448 tire tread depth gauge. Ridiculously cheap and made in America.
* Wilde 516 gasket scraper
Here's a tour of the Wilde factory!

Ordered the 3490 and the 3425. Gonna use Fluid Film.Oh, and for those of you who order the loverly 3/8" dr. Wright ratchet.... they were made in 1996! They need lube. Remove the spring clip with two little screwdrivers and put some RLL in there *snip*
The awesomeness keeps rolling in. What a great day. I can't wait to see all these tool purchases displayed in the sticky thread at the top of the forum, which I will unlock before too long.

Perhaps this can become an annual event celebrating the birth of America and buying a few American made tools from our favorite suppliers.![]()
I absolutely agree, and intend for this to be annual.
I also think we should look at a winter event around the holidays, and also look at some of the other patriotic holidays.
Heck, we all buy tools all the time. Having a few Epstein's Days throughout the year isn't going to hurt anybody.
