100 orders already? That's fantastic!

Mine included a Consolidated Devices 3/8 torque wrench, 36" Wilde prybar, Wilde headlight spring tool, and a long tube blow gun. Total was $83.27 shipped, which is modest compared to a lot of you fellas.

There's still 9.5 hours left to jump aboard if you haven't done so yet, GJ friends!

About to place my order... Are there any gems or sweet deals that I might have missed? There are a TON of items on their site!!

Check the closeouts if you already haven't, and anything Wilde is at really good prices. C-clamps too, if you use those a lot.

Website navigation is horrible...I want to support them but I can't find much

I was lost on the site at first. But once you figure out the alphabetized tabs, it's pretty smooth sailing. Plus, you can always search for a specific type of item.

What I ordered:
* Vaughn 3 lb. ball peen hammer (I've never peened anything before, but you never know...)

* Eka knife. Needed a basic folding knife for the shop, didn't want to buy the cheap Chinese junk at WMt. At $14ish for Swedish, can't complain.

* Milton S436 Schraeder valve caps, metal. I don't know if they have these, but I asked. I think they have more than their site shows sometimes.

* Milton 448 tire tread depth gauge. Ridiculously cheap and made in America.

* Wilde 516 gasket scraper

Here's a tour of the Wilde factory!

I placed my small order today.

If you are ever in the KC area...stop by their location. You will drool when you see all their stock right in front of you.

Oh, and for those of you who order the loverly 3/8" dr. Wright ratchet.... they were made in 1996! They need lube. Remove the spring clip with two little screwdrivers and put some RLL in there (Permatex engine assembly lube.) A nice ratchet becomes even nicer!

I can't put my finger on why this is one of my favorite ratchets right now. It's either the fairly fine teeth, the clicking noise they make, or just the balance of the handle, or all three.

Any ideas on where to buy the Permatex stuff locally? I know it's online, but I'd hate to spend 2x on the shipping. I usually use ATF or Dupont lubes for my ratchets.

Any of the big box auto parts stores, I think. I got mine at Advance Auto? Or Autozone. One or t'other. $6.99ish.

ATF is probably just as good. I've not tried ATF, but I can see it.

First order, first post. Thanks all for turning me on to HJE. I'd like to say GJ is a bad influence, but the truth is if I didn't spend it at Epstein's I'd spend it somewhere else. I'd rather support a small family business.

Picked up an Armstrong flex ratchet and some large Wright sockets.

did the online thing but if you can you really need to stop at the store. Always a few items not online.

The awesomeness keeps rolling in. What a great day. I can't wait to see all these tool purchases displayed in the sticky thread at the top of the forum, which I will unlock before too long.

I can't either. The order confirmation said to expect it on Monday. Here's hoping the big brown tool truck brings me some goodies quickly!

I should have my second order on Tuesday the 10th. Just a few wright socket rails, replacement clips, Wilde odds and ends and an Armstrong ratchet.
I got my first order from Sunday yesterday. Epsteins threw in a pair of Wilde thin nose slip joint pliers as a Thank-You.
Perhaps this can become an annual event celebrating the birth of America and buying a few American made tools from our favorite suppliers.

I've been eyeballing that proto l.a. 1 3/4" pebble flare wrench for over a year. Today I made it mine. And a 36" wilde prybar, a bahco saw, and a couple sk stubby screwdrivers.

I absolutely agree, and intend for this to be annual.

I also think we should look at a winter event around the holidays, and also look at some of the other patriotic holidays.

Heck, we all buy tools all the time. Having a few Epstein's Days throughout the year isn't going to hurt anybody.

Got my order in a little late, but still on the 4th. Got the Wright 3/8 ratchet, a 16 oz Ball Pein, a gasket scraper & a couple of other goodies.
This was a great Idea! I'll have to start making a list for the next GJ/Epstein's day holiday!
