Wow.:shocking:
I have one in nos condition and paid msrp off the truck for it. That auction looks like it's going to clear $200.

It's going absolutely crazy! I never imagined it getting that high. I thought on my best day 80-100. I had someone PM me yesterday and offer 125 and I would've taken it, but I ended up riding my CT70 around town and never got back to him. I checked this morning, and it's already over that. I have received about 30 requests to end the auction early, and at this point, I'm just going to let it run it's course. To think, I almost passed on all of the blue stuff when I bought it because I don't collect that color... Needless to say, I'm going to be putting up some more blue stuff for sale. I even have 149 people watching the auction as of right now.

I've also been told that I was crazy for not picking up the NOS brown handle stuff I had the opportunity to buy. I'll be going back to the guy next week, needless to say.

Man I wouldn't of listed all that stuff at one time. :(

Why? I'm actually sitting her listing more right now. I'd rather run to the post office and ship everything at the same time next week than go back multiple times. Am I missing something?

See what we told you? eBay is the WAY to get all the dough... good luck with the sales! :)

You were actually the one that talked me back into it. I am so opposed to using that site anymore for what they charge between sellers fees and paypal fees, but I'm glad I took your advice! (You probably should have asked for a consulting fee beforehand).

Because its summer, ebay is slow now. I would wait for winter to sell if you don't need the cash right now. I think the ebay fees and rules are worth it for rare good SO stuff. Make sure you discribe it right and tape the **** out of your package, tools rip out of boxes easy. good luck

Listen to warmpancakes this will help protect you against a credit card chargeback which has happened to me. Let all guess the final sell price?

Just a FYI once that screwdriver hits 200 (it will im guessing close to 300) make sure you insure it and send it so they have to sign for it, thats a paypal requirement

I already anticipated that. I even have it in my listing that I automatically charge for delivery confirmation, that way people can't say they didn't receive something. I've been around the block plenty of times... I would like to think better of people than that, but it happens. So I check all of my bases. As far as the rare stuff goes, it'll probably be shipped inside of a padded mailer, then padded and shipped in another box. I want it to be received the way it was shipped. When I've shipped tools in the past, I also wad up newspaper and wrap the blades before sticking them into anything, then I use packing tape to tape the end of whatever I ship it in to avoid that very problem.

I'll pony up....10 bucks to the closest guesser, however, if I guess closest, everyone who agrees has to send me 1.00 :)

delivery confirmation is any sale but once it hits 200 ebay requires a signature

Well, for those interested in the blue deadblow and ball peen, I'll have pics up in a second. Also, to those that I told I was looking for a certain type of ratchet, I'll include the 2 I picked up today, still looking for the 1/4 and 1/2...

The 2 blue hammers are used, but still in good shape, especially for the age. The ball peen had the original price written on it by the snap-on guy (no no!) I haven't tried to remove it, but it's light enough I don't notice it.

You must have one hell of a "dealer" lol

Actually, there's no real secret to how I got the green and orange old stock ratchets. The orange came from the usual snappy driver that comes to our shop. The green, I chased down another dealer in his territory yesterday just to see what he had on the truck and got a surprising treat, since I've been searching all over the net for the green 3/8! I also got the 2 used blue hammers from my snappy driver, but I paid brand new price for them, he is a hardass.

All of the NOS stuff I have on ebay, well, that guy IS an awesome NOS source, and he has hundreds more where that came from. BUT, he was really only selling a handful of used stuff, I had to beg the rest off of him. I'm really hoping that when all of my current stuff sells, that he'll let me come back out and buy more. He said he didn't want to part with anything else, but I'll show up at his door with cash!!!

And, if I could ever stop playing around on the internet, I might actually be able to list the rest of the stuff on ebay that's sitting here.

Just having them is 9/10 of the battle

I didn't find those too hard to get. The fact that I wasn't looking for them helped I guess. Lucked out finding them on an ending auction while looking for something else. Thought they looked kinda neat so I grabbed em. Seen a few pairs since, actually. They don't come up every day, but they're out there.
Now these buggers were a tough find...

and these....took me a loooong time to find the little 6" one and even at that, I had to get a member on here that was in the US army in Korea to bid on it (seller wouldn't ship to Canada)and have it shipped to Texas. It finally got shipped to me a week or so ago once he returned home and sent it.

Yeah, both snappy drivers that had the orange 1/2 and the 2 green 3/8 said "Ive had those on my truck forever, can't give them away...." BUT full price or you can't have them...

On a side note, I'll take those purple drivers. GORGEOUS!
