I'm wondering if that box is made at the Georgetown facility where the MAC boxes are made, or if it's made by Waterloo. If it's a Waterloo made box, I wouldn't want it.
Well-base on your recommendations I am going to look at it today.
That looks A LOT like the Husky and Mac boxes (Mac Economizer) made by Beach in Canada in the 90's. $1800 seems like WAY too much. I paid less than $600 for my top/bottom Husky and has a lifetime warranty.
Based off those 2 pictures, I don't see anything that looks the same about those two boxes? Different side handles, different draw pulls and draw pull locations, different draw configurations, different wheels, etc..They're the same box. Both measuring 41'' x 50-1/2'' x 25-1/4''. The 4-bolt side handle on the Proto box is the exact handle they use to put on the MAC MB1700A back in the 90's ... it's the dead give away that tells me the box is made at the Georgetown facility along side the MAC MB1000A.
