okay, so ive been using my 1/4" corldess impact from matco for about 2 weeks now, 5 hours, m-f. its great and all but my problem is that i have to use a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter 95% percent of the time. well, not so much a problem, just that i choose to use it. but anyway, its only been about 2 weeks and now the socket/adapter almost slips right off whenever i point the gun downward. do you guys think its a manufacturing problem?? also, there seems to be ALOT of play with the anvil when its not in use and there is an o-ring on the anvil thats already starting to slowly split.
i THINK theres such a thing as having a hole in the anvil where you can place a pin through as well as with a socket, or in my case an adapter, but my anvil doesnt have one. you guys think its possible for me to drill in a small hole through the anvil so i can just "lock" my adapter onto the gun? lol sounds kinda dumb but just was an idea.
what do you guys suggest? or maybe i can bring it up with matco about the oring and stuff...
