2oolhound thats a great job on that box. It looks like the PO use it in a boat and it sank. I also like the way it will be use for lathe tooling.

That's a very nice SO box, how much did you pay for it if I may ask? Just out of curiosity...
I paid $130 for it. I actually just sold it for $175. After the gas I spent top go get it I broke even.![]()
Outlaw, you did a fabulous job bringing back to life a special tool box (post #1026) that many of us would not have bothered to bring home. I have only looked at page 52 of this thread, and have been thoroughly inspired by all the wonderful work on this one page alone. Looks like I have a lot of reading and studying to do on the other pages. Thanks, everybody, for the eye candy. I'll clean up my old 1950s Snap-on boxes and roll-aways and add a few pictures as soon as I get my camera to download onto my computer.
